This place oh where do I start… Since the day it opened it entered my top 3. I love how clean and functional the set up is. ALL THE FOOD IS DELICIOUS!!! ALL THE TIME!!! My favorite part is getting to load up on all my favorites with no shame or guilt of giving anyone a hard time. The daughter of the lady makes these red velvet cupcakes with whipped cream cheese in the center they were to die for anyhow they do have a decent variety of desserts and home made juices that you won’t get enough of. Overall this place is the closest you will get to your Puerto Rican grandmothers cooking.any blessings for this place and the entire staff. Keep it up.

This is a wonderful place with good food!!Buffet style stay and eat or order to go. It’s the best food in town. I catered from here and they delivered on time. Fried chicken, turkey wings, mac and cheese, ribs, yellow rice, and pernil. The food was a HIT. Everyone was wondering where we got such delicious food!! Definitely going back again.

I have had 2 experiences with Sabor. Once when they first opened, I dined in and had the buffet and recently I ordered takeout. My done in experience was good but I just hadn’t found my way back. The other day I ordered takeout through Grubhub. I got chicken empanadas, beef empanadas and the lunch special of stewed beef with rice and beans. I wanted to give them a review since I didn’t with my first experience. All I can say was the food was absolutely delicious!! The beef was super tender and the rice and beans were on point. I preferred the beef empanadas over the chicken as they use ground chicken and they were a little too dry for my taste. However they still had flavor. I was hoping they’d be served with some kind of sauce but each culture serves them differently. I want to return soon to dine in again so I can sample other dishes and make them a regular place on my takeout list.

My boyfriend is so lucky we do not live in Albany because I would never cook for him again. This food is like home cooked food and there are so many options!! We live 45 mins south and now every time we go to Albany this is must for a pit stop. The food is 10 outta 10. Everything. I’ve never had anything bad. The ladies at the front counter are always friendly and we are in and out with our takeout boxes very quickly. The hardest part is picking what you want. Mac and cheese, mango Thai chili chicken, jerk chicken, fried pork chops, stewed chicken, yams, veggies, fried fish, empanadas, corn bread, potato and Mac salad.. literally so many more options. Highly reccomend!! You won’t regret it.
