Order family meal for 3, ate some threw the rest away. Had a lot left over, food was way too sweet lacked flavor and definitely food coloring! Do not eat here, you will be disappointed if you’re a foodie person like myself.

I had a large order for pickup 115.00 and none of the food had any flavor the General Tso and The Sesame.Chicken had very little flavor and both dishes tasted the same and the Mongolian beef was kinda slimy and had zero flavor would not recommend and won’t order there again.

Moved here in July and we have gotten Chinese food religiously once a week for dinner. This is the BEST Chinese restaurant in Savannah in my opinion. So of our 30+ orders we have NEVER had a messed up order or cold food. Tried the Wonton soup for the first time here and it’s the best I’ve ever had.

Came in today 10.17.2022 with my daughter while we were waiting for the Urgent care. The lady who took the order I believe had an issue with my veil. So was short with me. Then a man with a hat came up and he was no better the lo mein my daughter did not like but the egg drop she really enjoyed. I returned the lo mein to her and she fussed at me say I make this for thousands of people and they like with no problem. My daughter wanted the fried rice instead due to the lo mein not tasting right. . I told her if it’s a problem then keep it. She made it without the veggies and had such a horrible attitude. Do not go here. I sat and watched her and I see if you are dressed or high class, respectful they do not like catering to us. They need training to accept all walks of life. I should not have to dress down without my veil for you to feel comfortable enough in your own skin to serve me as a customer. Will not return here.

So I always come here the food is pretty good. I have no complaints. I’ve been coming to this location for about three years now. One day, I placed a to go order and I had to Cancel my order.(food was not made yet) The reason I had to cancel is because I95 closed down one lane due to maintenance. If I would have stayed in traffic coming northbound, I would have been stuck in traffic for hours. Recently, I have been trying to call to place a to go order, The answering service lets me know that they’re not taking to go orders at this time. I called to place a pick up order, the lady told me that there currently not taking to go orders. So I go in today 5/21/2025 The restaurant is completely empty, and the young lady at the counter is sitting down.
I asked to speak to the manager and asked him. Why am I getting denied take out orders. He stated it’s because I canceled an order but he would take me off of the list. I just found this to be very unprofessional and mentioned to him I would take my business right down the street to China Wok. You put people on a band list because they canceled an order and to add an order that wasn’t made. I can see if I placed the order and never picked it up. This business needs to do better.

Walked in and had my food within 5 minutes. The best fried rice around. They also have half/half tea/lemonade mixed properly. The fried chicken was quite good and went well with the amazing rice (I had the house specialty). I have had the sweet and sour chicken before and the chicken part was fine but the sweet/sour sauce felt a bit thin. The crab rangoon is also perfect. All in all it’s my go to lunch or supper on my off days.

The menu states that it is NEW YORK STYLE Chinese food. That is a reach. It is my first and possibly last time eating here because I live far away but for the price (15 dollars for a single meal) I was not impressed. The food does not taste bad, however when I showed up it was not ready and I can taste that they rushed to finish it (since everything wasn’t cooked evenly). I guess I just got spoiled in NYC.

I picked up a take out order for almost $50. The order of shrimp egg foo young should have come with a brown sauce to serve with it. The dish is not good without it. It was not put in the take out bag. My daughter called to tell the people at the restaurant of their mistake and all she was told repeatedly is the manager would call her back later. Then hung up. I drove back to the restaurant and walked in with the take out bag repacked to show them. The woman in there said she tried to call back. She didn’t. I was given the brown sauce and a small take out box of rice. There has got to be another Chinese take out restaurant in my area to order from. I will not order from Green Tea again. I completely understand why they have a 3.4 rating. With their grins and lousy customer service, that rating isn’t likely to get any better either.
