The patisserie first started selling its French-Asian sweets on 11th Street in Chinatown in 2015. Along with photo-ready single-serving baked goods, like the slice of matcha mille crêpe cake, which layers 20 thin green crepes, or the triple chocolate concoction with white chocolate mousse stacked on milk chocolate mousse atop a flourless dark chocolate cake, there are adorable pastries in animal shapes, like the round pig made of vanilla cream cheese mousse, blueberry cream, and almond cake and the bear with hazelnut feuilletine and chocolate mousse. There’s also a menu of coffee drinks, fruit teas, milk foam teas, milkshakes, and matcha drinks, like a matcha white mocha latte.

Maison Sweet’s location is so convenient, right near 30th Street Station so it’s a good stop before or after your journey. The interior is so bright and adorable, and there’s some seating and colorful cases of desserts. I got the strawberry tiramisu to-go and was happy that the strawberries and blueberries were fresh and crunchy. Though, the tiramisu only had one layer and was mostly cream, and I wish there was more of the coffee flavor. It’s also really small for the steep price ($9) but it’s a premium dessert vibe. I’d return again to try some of their drinks and other desserts!

I keep finding myself back here—and not just because it’s close to campus. The space is beautiful: warm wood, cute displays, and plenty of elegant charm that make it an easy spot to study or catch up with friends. I’m especially drawn to the pastry case; the desserts are adorable and genuinely tasty, and even though prices run on the higher side, the overall experience feels worth it to me. If I have one wish, it’s for the drinks to rise to the level of the pastries. They look great, but the flavors can be a bit understated. Still, for ambiance and desserts, this place is an easy pick, and it’s why I’ve been back several times.

Went a bit ago for a date night! The concept of a tea set where you can pick and choose a few from the menu is such a great idea. Our waitress was so attentive and quick! But my only complaint is that lots of stuff we wanted to order was unfortunately sold out – some only being one option to pick from! It’s also pretty packed in there! The desserts were very light and not too sweet, almost as if no sugar was used in them even, so if you like that, you’ll love this! All of it was also placed nicely and presented beautifully. I would love to come back and try other menu items!

Without a doubt, the desserts are delicious. You must go to this place. I don’t recommend the drink called Maison something at all. I don’t remember the exact name, but I’m posting the drink and the menu here.

I really appreciated the amazing service and found the staff to be incredibly friendly. The interior has such a cute vibe, which adds to the overall experience. As for the dessert, it was good, but I was hoping for something a bit more exceptional, especially with all the rave reviews I had heard. However, I think dessert is often more about the company you keep rather than just the treats themselves. So, I recommend bringing along close friends, enjoying some of the adorable desserts, and then heading up to the terrace of the next building to take in the beautiful clouds together.

This was a very cute ascetic restaurant. The sweets were so adorable and loved how everything was paired! I got the Butter Pecan and my friend got the Mango Pomelo Mille Crepes. We both loved our dessert and caffeinated beverages.

A very cute cafe with a nice atmosphere. Desserts looked amazing and presentation was on point. We tried the peach oat matcha and strawberry oat matcha. Both were decent, but I wish they used more matcha in each drink.

Beautiful cafe spot! It was my first time attending on Wednesday with a friend of mine and let me just say that we fell in LOVE! From the atmosphere to the Tiramisu and the STRAWBERRY Match! Wow!!! Delicious! I also love how they are open until later! A lot of shops close early , so definitely very convenient if you’re craving a matcha late in the day

The most delightful dessert spot in Philly.

Staff is nice, efficient, and helpful.

Food is aesthetic to the point that you feel guilty taking your first bite.

But, once you do… It’s absolute bliss. Many of the desserts are a play on classics with sharper flavors and delicate balancing. The kind that makes you excited to take the next spoonful instead of overwhelmed by the sweetness.

The yuzu and butter pecan were highlights for me, but my wife would beg to differ and even after several trips, there are many more in our sights.

If you’re a dessert lover who enjoys a simple, stylistic vibe with your tasty treats, this has to be on your short list for places to visit.
