The chicken on the yumyum bowl is delicious but the rice is meh, wish they just used regular rice. We also ordered the calamari and halibut fish and chips! Definitely gonna come back again whenever we have a long layover.

The halibut was over cooked and the portion of fries please. I had to complain yes it was for my daughter but for the price it should have been more. Look at the picture of fish and chips for the price this is crazy. The cheese for the pretzel tasted like the cheapest cheese you can find in a can but the pretzel was good and nice size. But still can’t get over the fish and chip size even for the kids meal. And the picture was before it was touched on our end.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 49th State Brewing – Ted Stevens

Great beer selection and very solid quality.

The beer was excellent — fresh, well balanced, and easy to enjoy. Perfect stop before a flight or while waiting at the airport. Atmosphere is relaxed, service is fast, and everything feels well organized.

Definitely worth stopping by if you like good craft beer

Pretty decent food for an airport. We were surprised at the quality and flavor of all of our dishes. For appetizers we ordered a Caesar salad and pretzel (with cheese). For our meals we had the Korean Chicken sandwich (sweet with a hint of spice), carnivore flatbread, and halibut fish and chips. To wash it down, we just ordered the root beer which was tasty. Definitely give them a try.

They have a kids menu. It wasn’t offered to us. The people sitting next to us offered it when we sat down.

I ordered a 907 breakfast burrito. It might as well be called the egg burrito with potatoes and beans with trace amounts of sausage. Just kind of sad how jewish everything is in the world now.

We stopped in at the 49th State Brewing in downtown Anchorage for lunch as the establishment got fantastic reviews. Unfortunately, they were out of King Crab legs so we went somewhere else. To our surprise later in the day, we saw this location at the airport and were able to give the restaurant a shot.

This was one of the nicest airport restaurants that we’ve been to anywhere. The decor is very nice and the service was great. We had appetizers and some drinks as we waited for our flight. This is definitely the nicest plan to dine at the Anchorage airport.

If you are a muslim, try to ask the ingredients in their menu first. The clam chowder they have, has pork ingredient in it. Any other than that seems fine. I like their home made root beet float. Taste super good!

Loved the huge chunks of salmon in the chowder, the halibut in the tacos were huge pieces that were lightly fried—not the kind where it’s mostly breading. The burger was great and the wedge salad was doubled sized—both halves of an iceberg head of lettuce. The chocolate mousse pie had yummy Alaskan blueberries on it. Yum!!!!

The guy working the bar was friendly. He said what beers they were out of probably a hundred times while I sat there waiting for my flight, sometimes you could tell his frustration that people weren’t listening but he knew info for every beer. I, myself tried to order the beers they didn’t have and sure enough he told me they didn’t have them still. I ordered a pizza, I thought it was very good with a nice tangy sauce and great cheese coverage. Every time I visit Ted Stevens it seems like the food gets better and more consistent. They could really use some bag hooks at the bar.

Busy but worth it. The Belgian Triple was out of this world delicious! My son loved the root beer and I will add they is was amazing. He also said the wings were close to the best he’s ever had. My wife loved the Thai chicken. We liked sitting at the bar facing the airport walk way where we could enjoy people watching while eating and having a beer. Definitely stopping by next time at the airport!
