We were on our way home to Panama City from Birmingham and it took us through the backwoods of Alabama and by the time it was lunch, there was NO WHERE to eat. My kids and I were starving. I looked on google for some place to eat and this popped up as literally the only place to eat. Had good reviews so we thought we would try it since we were starving. The lady ran the food truck and her husband the ice cream place. The food was very good and extremely reasonable! For 2 adults and 2 kids, including shakes, we paid $32! They had a nixe grassy area with covered picnic tables. My kids and dog loved running around. Not happy about taking the backwoods of Alabama when we were starving, but this was a great place to end up!

On my way to Ponce de Leon Springs, I couldn’t find any restaurants, not even a McDonald’s. So, I checked Google reviews and ended up at this place.
Honestly, I’ve never left a Google review before, but I just had to share my experience about this hidden gem. The hot dog and Mac daddy burger were incredibly good, and the lady was so kind and friendly. If you happen to be heading to Ponce de Leon Springs, make sure to make a stop here! You won’t regret it!

Great lunch spot near Ponce de Leon Springs Park for burgers, dogs, pulled pork and salads. Sweet, enthusiastic owner took order and cooked—and was helpful quoting us to delicious picks. The chili dog was a dream match to my childhood favorite. Husband enjoyed the pulled pork with pickles as recommended by owner. Canned sodas and water bottles. Covered picnic benches. I believe delivery is available. Little library on site. Cheap bags of ice available. Bird boxes on lot next door.

This place is the only place we saw in Ponce de Leon. We didn’t have food, we had Icecream instead. Very friendly/funny owner and price is very reasonable

Great hand-made burgers in a little hole in the wall spot. Fed a family of 5 for less than 30, when it usually costs closer to 40 at the chain fastfood joints. They serve hamburgers and hotdogs with a good variety of toppings for each. Would definitely go back.

Little mom and pop food stand on the side of the road. Food prices are amazing. Even with the understandable extra charge on the ice cream, I was still able to get burgers, chicken sandwiches and ice cream for my two daughters and I for only $26.50 including tax. And the food is delicious. I stop every time I come to Morrison Springs.

The lady running the place had an attitude for no reason I was just asking a question about sides, the food was so bad I would’ve been better off eating a gas station burger, me and my friend both got burgers and they were just awful the veggies were great but the actual meat tasted cheaper than any gas station frozen I’ve had. I actually left her a $8 tip on my $17 meal thinking oh it’s a food truck typically some of the best food around but nope, your better off getting gas station food or just looking for somewhere else to eat. The lady I don’t know if she was having a rough day or if i did something to make her mad but she treated me and the older couple like absolute crap when we were just trying to order like we’re an inconvenience to her.
