Wonderful spot! Our waitress was outstanding! Extremely friendly and constantly came over to fill waters and coffee.

So good! The goat cheese in the spinach salad was melt-in-your-mouth delicious. The bacon cheese hamburger was yummy too. The Wooly mammoth was packed with roast beef and gooey cheese. Service was fast and friendly. The atmosphere was amazing with beautiful window views. Highly recommend this hidden gem.

Came here all 3 nights we spent in the area. Curds, chicken tenders, burgers, french dip, and desserts were all fantastic. Staff were all very nice ladies and made us feel at home.

It’s a classic lodge and more importantly place to eat a meal with an amazing view of Mt McKinley (on a clear day). The food is great, and the service is better!

A great cafe in every way. The decorations, views, employees, and food were all great. The only minor complaint is the prices are a bit steep but I guess it comes with the remoteness. The cinnamon rolls were delicious and now our #1 cinnamon rolls. The heavy cinnamon and cream cheese frosting were perfect. The chicken fried steak was also tasty. The only advice I have is to get there when it opens, 9 am. By 10am the place was packed and the parking lot was full of tourists buses and there was a wait to be seated.

Such a lovely place. You have to stop here. Cozy atmosphere, fantastic views, tasty food and great service. Hands down – the Swiss Mushroom Burger was one of the best burgers I had across the whole northern US & Canada.

Service is prompt and friendly. Good location and ambience ,both inside and the deck. Don’t go by the looks of exterior, place inside is good.
