I was concerned about this place after reading so many negative reviews, but I decided to try it for myself. The server was attentive and polite. The food was ok, I had the bulgogi with brown rice. The rice was very good. The bulgogi needed more spice. My daughter had the sour and spicy soup, she didn’t care for it. She said it was just sour, no spice. My husband had the pad thai which he ordered spicy. He said it was bland and lacked spice. The food wasn’t horrible, but it certainly wasn’t memorable. I have had better elsewhere. Too bad, it could be a great place.

Good food and great price. Staff were friendly and helpful. Opens
at 3:00 pm. Wish was 12 noon at least once a week! Best eat in your car food. How can you eat Chili’s ribs or outback steak in your car! My favorite restaurant, can’t wait for reopening! Had hibachi steak.

A little bit of a strange ordering and pick up setup, the food made up for it. Bibimpab was enjoyable and filling.

Stopped by

Stopped in for a friend’s birthday dinner and was not disappointed. Very clean when on a Saturday evening, prime time dinner. Such a variety on the menu, but not over welming, chose their Pad Thai, it was amazing, and they brought out a free treat for my friend for her birthday, so impressed. Staff was friendly and service was remarkable. Definitely will go back. Highly recommend!

I’ve been going here for years and at the beginning they were great! But things have deteriorated greatly to the point I don’t bother coming anymore. The servers are always nice and pleasant even though they are understaffed and it takes a while to get anything. The menus on the other hand are horrendous! Extremely dirty and falling apart with pages coming out. I feel like washing my hands after flipping through it. They have lots of food choices which is great but the food is underwhelming especially for the prices. The way they serve some of their dishes leave me scratching my head as to who thought THAT was a good idea. Crispy spicy shrimp? Not after a bucket of sauce as been poured on top it’s just a sweet soggy mess. Everything is either bland, doesn’t look fresh, or a mess. They need to fix the menues and recipes before I will be back which is a shame. I loved this place.

Not a good night for them. What a disappointment! Definitely lacking customer service. I ordered spring rolls, which are fried. They brought vegetable rolls- which are fresh and cold. I knew it was wrong, but since they were SO understaffed that night, I looked at the ingredients in this roll, and thought i would try it, rather than wait another 25min for food. Well, they put crab in it, which I am allergic to. The menu said shrimp- not crab. I feel like they just don’t care anymore- about their restaurant, customers, or staff.

Dined at Pi for the first time this afternoon (1/24/16). We stopped for a late lunch (around 3pm) so the restaurant was pretty quiet. The dining area was clean, our waitress was at the table immediately for our drink order. The menu is pretty straightforward with an Appetizer section (did not order appetizer) and then sections for Soup/Salad, Sushi, Korean/Japanese, Thai and Chinese. I had the Hibachi Steak and Shrimp (Japanese) and my wife had the Sweet & Sour Chicken (Chinese). Service was very good – our food was out quickly and waitress stopped to check on us at least twice. She was very friendly and seemed happy to be serving us – I tipped generously.

The Hibachi was delicious – the steak was cooked perfectly (medium) as was the shrimp. Not overly salty which is a mistake a lot of Asian restaurants make – if I want it salty, I’ll make it that way. I ordered the fried rice (white or brown are no-cost options) and there was a generous portion of vegetables although it was mostly onions. Also included a dipping sauce that I didn’t try – the steak, shrimp and veggies were seasoned just right and had just the right amount of oil/soy sauce.

My wife enjoyed her chicken, she also had the fried rice and veggies. I ate the egg roll that came with her meal, it was small but very good. All in all, a very good meal for about $30 including tip.

We live just far enough away that if I ordered carry-out it might not be very warm by the time we got home. Which is too bad because I think I’d enjoy Pi much more frequently. As it is, we’ll definitely go again – good food and good service at reasonable prices. Good overall value – I highly recommend Pi.

I have been going to the Pi’s in Midland for over 12 years. When I found out there was one in Brighton I was so excited because they serve my favorite dish and I’ve always had such great food and service in Midland. I moved downstate about 6 years ago and have often driven back up to Midland to have Pi’s. I don’t know if they are trying to save money because the overhead and Brighton is much more than an Midland but they sacrifice the quality of food. The food was half of the portion size it was not prepared the same as Midland as I’ve gotten the same exact dish for over 12 years. The service was terrible the server was trying to do her best but often missed at least one of us at drink refills. I have been talking this place up and for $100 with tip for 4 people for fast food quality food it was a complete waste of my money. I was embarrassed that I let down the people I was with after talking so highly of this restaurant and getting them so excited to have their food. I will never go there again. I thought for sure being in Brighton and the competition they have food wise their game would be stepped up compared to Midland but it was horrible.

This place has really gone down hill in the past few months. Used to be one of our favorite restaurants. Was always packed around dinner time. We used to go at least once a week. Walked in around 4 months ago and there was completely different staff members. The manager was wearing what looked like blue Jean overalls. The food wasn’t bad but service was slow. Gave them another chance about a month ago. Same thing.
Tried again last night around 7pm. Only one other couple there at 7:00 on a Friday night. We left around 8 and nobody else came in. Service was terrible. And this time so was the food. Egg rolls were cold, the sweet and sour pork had very little sauce and very little pork and my wife’s General Tso chicken looked and tasted like leftovers from yesterday. The chicken was very dry and hard. We won’t be back. 3 strikes and you’re out.

Server was great and food tasted good but it took over 2 hours to get some of the meals. We received our meals at different times. Some of us had been done eating for about an hour before the last meal arrived. The last meal only arrived after I approached the manager about about it. We watched other customers walk out without eating.
