This place is awful, spent 20 minutes in line… then my wife asked for extra caramel on her sundae and the old lady said… honey I gave you a whole ladle…. Wait what? We asked to pay for extra caramel and she turned us down, was extremely rude and shook her head as we drove away… the place is gross, run down and the owner is extremely rude… even the employee was getting yelled at for offering sauce with the chicken fries… unbelievable… stay far far away!

Honestly, the food is good…but they are slow. Plus, the owner does not care about customer service or being nice to her employees. That’s why she can’t keep any. Being nice goes a long way.

The food is good, however these people are always mean and slower than slow. I expect to wait for made-to-order food, but this is ridiculous! They won’t even sell me a cup of ice and extremely stingy w/condiments. I have to get my nerves ready to deal w/some bs when I want a good hot-dog or travel. It’s a shame to have good food and the service is so nasty! By the way, go back to the fresh meat burgers!

We had high hopes when driving up to this restaurant, since it’s a Derry Freeze… We walked in and knew right away it wasn’t like any other Derry Freeze. The workers were almost as cold as the “Do Not” hand written signs all over the place. The portions were small, but it did taste pretty good…a day the prices were too bad either.

The locals are very high on this place and considering the selection of eateries in town I can understand that, but this place is gross. You would think that a place like this wouldn’t be allowed to operate because of how nasty it is but it’s a fully functional dump that’s closed on Wednesdays for some strange reason. I’ve been tricked into eating here twice and both times have been horrible experiences. Everytime I drive by this place I expect to see it taped off or boarded up but they continue to serve people the most disgusting food in Eastern North Carolina.

This place has gotten to be such a hastle to deal with over the years. The owner obviously doesn’t care about her customers. They get an attitude easily if something goes wrong (or even if it doesn’t) and they have a super long wait time no matter how many cars are in line. Also be warned: if you are placing more than one order with different forms of payment, you’ll need to pull alllll the wayyy around and wait through the drive thru again to place your order. And no there are no signs posted saying this. The owner honestly needs to retire and go on vacation somewhere because she is one of the illest people I’ve ever had the displeasure of dealing with. Good notes are the food is pretty tasty! But be warned… a large fry is about the size of the palm of your hand

Burgers, Hot dogs, and fries were so good. So much better than normal fast food chains. I wanted a dip cone, but they told me they only did dip cups. Unsure if maybe ice cream was too soft to dip in a cone. I would have preferred a little more chocolate.

Ordered vanilla soft serve, they said “1 or 2 scoops” I said “soft serve” again they asked “1,or 2 scoops”. So I said 2. When it comes out it’s rainbow vanilla not soft serve. I just took it anyway. My friend ordered a hot fudge sundae. It was,in fact, soft serve a very small dollop with some kid of syrup on it. The other person ordered a strawberry milkshake. It was made with ice and strawberry flavoring. It was terrible!!! Never go here something is terribly wrong.
