The bb.q in our name stands for Best of the Best Quality, and that’s exactly what you can expect from every one of our restaurants. Our Korean fried chicken is crispier, juicier, and more tender than anything you’ve tasted before, and our sauces provide an eclectic mix of flavor. Every dish is the result of both longstanding Korean tradition and modern research and development from our very own Chicken University. It’s a tremendous amount of work, but it’s all worth it when you take that first bite.

Outstanding fried chicken spot!! Chicken is delicious, soft and moist inside, while crunchy outside. Secret sauce is amazing Golden original wings are great too. Loved Ddeok-Bokki, which I would define as a tasty Korean pasta made of rice cakes, and with a spicy kick to it. Plus there is a Sapporo on tap, which makes everything even tastier! Would recommend getting a family meal as it comes with a lot of food and is a better value overall.

25 minute wait and I was the only customer in the restaurant, chicken sandwich was good but nothing special. Asked for the spiciest sauce and it seemed like I was asking for something complicated. Spice level 3/10. Paid $25 for a chicken sandwich and a fountain drink .

This is our second time having bb.q Chicken CV so it’s time for a review. Hands down one of the top Korean chicken places in San Diego. It’s incredibly convenient having this establishment in the South Bay without the headache of driving out to Convoy. We got our order for takeout and it was still bomb by the time we got home and started grubbin’. Now for the wings. I mean waaaangs. We tried the Gangnam Style, Galbi, and Gangjeong. Ahhh-mazing. The crunch is insane, the balance of flavors hits with just the right amount of heat, and the meat is juicy and tender. Solid waaangs. The kimchi fried rice was the best we’ve ever had. Can’t wait to return a third time and try another flavor profile. Highly recommended!!

They told me it’d be about 20 minutes, but it was ready in less than 15. Heads-up: portions are huge, so while $24 felt a little steep (including a $5 charge for extra protein), I’ve easily got enough for a second or even third meal. Would love to see smaller size options, but overall great quality and worth it.
Highly recommend if you’re craving something fresh with a kick!

We went to this location with a party of two around 4pm on a Sunday. The wait time was not too bad. The wings were absolutely delicious. We tried the Galbi bone in and the secret sauce boneless wings. The flavors were explosive and really enjoyable. The space was clean and tiny which is always a major plus. Bare in mind though, every side available is for a price, including the horse radish bites that’s offered with every order. The staff were friendly and professional. This location is worth a second visit for sure.
Parking was no issue at all, and the restaurant is located between starbucks and world nails.

Came here with a friend for a late dinner. We ended up sitting at a table rather than taking it to-go. We each ordered fried chicken and kimchi fried rice. I went with the Golden Original fried chicken. The fried chicken was moist and delicious! The kimchi fried rice was delicious too! The place is clean. I would definitely come back again.

This chain has great bone-in kbbq soy garlic wings, however their boneless chicken wings did not taste double fried at all at this location. The classic boneless wings tasted like straight up KFC chicken tenders. Decent food. I’ll give this place another shot.

The chicken is always super crispy, juicy, and packed with flavor. My go-to flavors are Honey Garlic and Soy Garlic, but today I tried the new Spicy Original — and wow, game changer! The staff’s chill, the food always comes out hot, and even the sides hit just right. Easily my go-to spot whenever I’m craving fried chicken.
