When they say 3rd times a charm it’s pretty accurate. If there’s one thing I learned it’s not to order from CJ’s past 4pm…you ask for a little extra sauce and they do the compete opposite and give you little bit of sauce…3 times we’ve ordered this past month that’s exactly what happens here. The daytime staff is awesome, but I do not know what’s going on there at night time. Pizza had no flavor tonight and it was GREASY! It almost looked like a thin crust medium and we ordered a large pie. Won’t be going back.

We ordered 2 pizzas and the loaded potato skins. Both pizzas were incredibly bland, doughy, and had massive bubbles in the crust. The only discernible meat on the “meat pizza” was the abundance of low quality bacon bits.

Whoever was working on NYE’s eve the night before January 1st, 2026. It was a young man and a woman. Give them everything, they deserve it all. My tongue has never been graced by quite a delicacy. And that is just for the pizza, don’t get me started on the mozz slices. The flavor packed in each slice, for both items. The soft yet firm doughey texture of the pizza. When you think of pizza, you think of yummy stretchy cheese – this was just that. Not only will I be back, and I’ll be back often, but I’m telling everyone I know.

We had the opportunity to visit this wonderful restaurant on 10/12/2025 while in town to see the Colts and Cardinals game today. We are out of towneres from the Washington DC area.
The food was excellent and the service was extremely pleasant, professional, and awesome. The staff makes the atmosphere so welcoming.
We don’t hesitate to check out this wonderful restaurant it is very family friendly and comfortable. You will be please with your decision to stop by and try some of the delicious foods on their menu.

After ordering a pizza for takeaway, we opted to dine in and supplement our meal with more menu items. However, the staff member preparing our pizza advised that we had to take a seat and formally place our additional orders.
An older waitress was working when I inquired about the price of the salad bar; she didn’t provide one but said our order would be ready shortly.
Several parties arrived and were attended all whilst eating our pizza without drinks.
(Yes, we were hungry).
We weren’t served so we departed and paid for the pizza. The elderly waitress wasn’t the owner as I had assumed. The service was honestly concerning & poor! Maybe it was my skin color?

The pizza was fantastic! Wings were good could be more crispy. The salad had brown leaves and should not be sent out like this! I would have given 5 stars except for the salad. Do better!

When we moved to Plainfield, this as the first pizza place we ordered from and fell in love with. I try to support local, non chain businesses/restaurants as often as I can. They were great quality and even when busy, the food was great. Last few times we’ve been, they have been swamped. Which I’m not complaining, I love that for them. But, the quality of our food has went down. I’d rather wait a little longer than be served food that’s not all the way done. We also had some aluminum foil stuck on our breadsticks. This does not stop me from going there, I think they just had a bad night and I’ll be sure to tell them, I just hope next time it’s better because they are one of our families favorite places. I’ll update next time we order from there!

This is the third time we have given CJs pizza in Plainfield a try. I ordered hand tossed, the crust is as thin as paper and the pizza is not cooked fully. When I arrived after ordering, the worker stated “she had cut off ordering an hour ago because they were out of dough.” Which is obvious because they sold me this trash instead of saying hey we did not have dough here is your money back. $50 wasted on 2 inedible pizzas. I tried to call back and no one answers.
