Cute little hidden gem… it was packed on a week night – there was a wait, but it was worth it. Pizza was delicious! The potato one was a bit strange IMO – I think they should skin them and smash them and it would be so much better. The pepperoni was amazing. Service was great. I’d go back!

An absolute neighborhood gem. Heck, a hidden city gem. Fantastic pizza, superb crust (bring back the square!), excellent cocktails and a neighborhoody vibe. The ingredients they elect to use are sooo good too. Honestly might be the most flavorful pepperoni in town.

Pro tip: the potato pizza is even better the next day, reheated in an air fryer

My friends and I went here last night for the first time during the Monday Happy Hour. We ordered the cheese pizza and the mushroom pizza to share. The pizzas were SO GOOD. Unfortunately, I have an egg allergy and completely missed that the mushroom pizza had a creamy sauce until it arrived. I asked our server, and it did contain eggs. He immediately apologized for not calling it out when he dropped the pizzas off and offered to put in another one without the sauce for me which he would discount with the happy hour discount. I refused because it was completely on me for missing this and there was enough of the other pizza for me to have enough food. He went ahead and put it in anyway. 15/10 experience and service. We will definitely be back.

We were out running errands in the city and decided to turn the day into an impromptu date night. I was in the mood for pizza, so we searched for something nearby and stumbled across The Little Grand. What a find!

It’s a cozy spot, so I’d definitely recommend making a reservation if you can. We waited about 30 minutes for bar seating, but didn’t mind one bit—we were able to enjoy a round of cocktails and appetizers off to the side while we waited, which made the time fly.

We started with the bar meatballs and the fresh ricotta. The meatballs were a 10/10—absolutely delicious and perfectly seasoned. The ricotta was fine, but I think I was hoping for burrata, so it fell a bit flat in comparison. I also ordered the pickled veggies and really enjoyed the variety of veggies they served—great for snacking and a nice contrast to the richness of the other dishes.

The cocktails were just as impressive—balanced, flavorful, and well-made. We ordered a pepperoni pizza and devoured nearly the whole thing, leaving just three slices because we were stuffed. The crust was crisp, the toppings generous – very cheesy, and the overall flavor hit all the right notes.

We’ll definitely be back. The Little Grand is perfect for a casual date night or a fun outing with friends—great vibes, great food, and great drinks.

You really can’t beat this place. The food, the drinks, the atmosphere, the service, and the attention to all little design details from the menus to the bathrooms — all A+. The pizzas are amazing, but don’t sleep on the salads and the appetizers, too. These guys are also experts in the art of cocktail making, plus have a great beer list (I often try to drink them out of their Maine Lunch stock). And the people who work here make it extra special. This has been a fave spot since they opened — a neighborhood gem for us, but also a city destination for those looking for a great night out.

The place is super small so have a backup plan – they don’t take reservations for parties smaller than *4. Luckily, they do takeout as well. I think I’d just do takeout going forward. The veggie supreme and potato pizza are both extremely good.

*correction and updated to reflect party size

Definitly our favorite pizza around H street/Union Market, probably in all DC, the crust is amazing. We like the rounds, the squares are probably a better bang for the buck, but they are huge, we tap out after one slice. The roasted mushrom is our favorite. They don’t take reservations for parties of two, but we are usually able to get in at the bar pretty quick. Solid cocktails too.

Really cute small pizzeria tucked away off H st with delicious sourdough pizzas! Got the classic pizza and mushroom. Both were excellent. The dough is nice and crunchy and toppings well balanced. Small restaurant so definitely expect a wait, but worth it. Would like to come try the squares.

WOW, What a hidden gem! The pizza was oh so amazing! Huge plus that it’s sourdough!!
We had the smothered onion, mushroom, and sausage pizza- my favorite would be the mushroom. However, you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu- must try! I’ll definitely be back.

Perfect little neighborhood pizza joint with excellent food and cocktails. The small bites (sunchoke hummus) are the perfect snacks to share over cocktails. Can’t wait to go back and try the square pizza!
