Gambi’s Restaurant has a really cool interior with a strong Pirates of the Caribbean style theme. The atmosphere alone makes it a fun and unique place to dine, especially for families or groups looking for something different.

The food overall was good, but my family and I felt that several dishes were served warm rather than hot. We also had an issue with wine being served unfiltered, with cork pieces in the glass. Once we mentioned it, the staff addressed the issue right away, which we appreciated.

We were seated at a large booth table, which was great for our group, and the seating was very comfortable. One thing to note is that the wine selection seemed somewhat limited, and the soda machine was not working during our visit, so soda wasn’t available.

There’s definitely some room for improvement, but the unique atmosphere, comfortable seating, and responsive staff make it a place I’d be willing to try again.

We were there for lunch. The food was fair. Our server, Wade, was very accommodating, helpful and friendly. Three of us were having lunch. There was fish and chips with onion rings, BLT with pub fries, and a meatball sub with garlic fries.
The bacon on the BLT was fab, although the sandwich was a little dry and the pub fries needed salt. The fish was perfectly breaded – lightly – and the onion rings were golden and crispy. The meatball sub was good but the garlic fries were a little disappointing. I asked for extra crispy, but they were prepackaged, not crispy at all, and they also needed some ocean love. There was fresh garlic on them, though. The food came with adequate portions for regular people not looking to take a buffet home.
I have to say it was a nice change to have glassware to drink from and the silverware were very sturdy, heavy utensils. The atmosphere was moderately quiet and had an interesting pirate theme. I would say if you’re around the Best Western Plus in Sparks Nevada, give it a try. The restaurant is pretty new. I added some of the highlights of the atmosphere.

My wife and I stumbled upon this absolute must go to place. The food is outrageously phenomenal. They make from an old family recipe the best ragu and marinara i have ever had. The meatballs are life changing. The tiramisu is incredible. And best of all, most all of the dishes and desserts are made in-house. This is the best Italian food I have ever had in a restaurant. Our server Yajaira (Yaya) was perfect, and the chef, Spencer, did an outstanding job. They both were warm and super friendly with great recommendations as to what to have. If you do not make your way to this family owned gem, you are truly missing out on one of life’s great treasures.

We’re new to the area and have been exploring all the fun restaurant options this city has to offer. Gambi’s had amazing reviews and absolutely did not disappoint.

We were a little hesitant when we first pulled up because of it’s location in an industrial area off the freeway that looks like it might be part of the Best Western, but once we walked inside, we were so pleasantly surprised.

The ambiance was warm, inviting, and perfect for a relaxed date night. It felt upscale without being stuffy, and we were comfortable from the moment we walked in.

We started with the calamari and Cadillac margaritas. The calamari was seasoned perfectly, and the homemade marinara had just the right amount of spice. The margaritas were strong but still smooth and tasty.
For our main course, my husband ordered the ribeye and I ordered the cioppino. We cleared our plates which is rare for me — everything was that good.

What really made the difference, though, was the service. Our wait staff gave us great recommendations, kept great conversation, and made sure our drinks were always full. We truly felt well taken care of. The chef even came out to speak with us, which made us feel especially welcomed and appreciated.

We can’t wait to come back!

Chose Gambi’s based on Google reviews. So happy we got there. We split an incredible beet salad — wonderful dressing, great combination of beets, lettuce, and pecans. Also split the main course of lobster ravioli. Again, very good with shrimp and a sauce that was excellent. We were served by John and Josh — a good pair who shared perfect recommendations and jokes along with attentive service. And the chef, Spencer, came out to say hello. He is way too young to be putting food this good on plates.

We really enjoyed the food and the people. Highly recommend.

We decided to try somewhere new and had seen how many great reviews this place had so we decided to give it a try. Such a fun atmosphere, the service was great we never felt rushed. The food was very good. Definitely a 5 out of 5 review & I cannot wait to go back! Very odd location but just go, you won’t be disappointed.

Went to Gambi’s for the first time and we were thoroughly impressed. We love the decor, skeletons everywhere, and tastefully done. Our server, Yahaira, was absolutely amazing. She was attentive and made some good suggestions since it was our first visit. We had the bread basket, which actually comes with refills! The gnocchi with Alfredo and chicken was the best! We also had the lobster ravioli which comes with a sauce that was on the sweeter side, but still really good. The penne a la vodka with shrimp was really tasty, and the cheese tortellini with Alfredo is also highly recommended. Get the tiramisu or the kahlua cake (an old family recipe). Spencer, the chef, came out and talked with us and was super friendly. You can tell he cooks with love. Hoping this restaurant is here for a long time because we will definitely be back!

Unique Atmosphere of swashbuckling pirates and large screen TVs with sports broadcasting is odd, but cool. If you want something private/romantic, probably not here, as it’s a single large dining area. Server was friendly. Food was very good. Ranging from $15 – $40 a plate. Bonus points to the bartender, as I requested a jalapeno infused margarita (not on menu) and he made it perfectly. Overall I highly recommend, and will return.
