Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Not many “fast food” options on the island but they are quick and a decent value. Skippers branded seafood is decent but not really the authentic items from my childhood as chowder darker than original with not many clams, but decent. Fish was a good value, but much thicker than original, fries were very dry, no moisture at all, perhaps oil was too hot? ALOT of fries were given. Original Skippers tartar was given (which is also available in most grocery stores) which i enjoy AND if you ask, they have their own tartar available which is also good, with more dill. Deluxe Burger was decent. Overall I would return, good staff, good value, very quick.

We went for some dinner. Buffalo Chicken Wrap was excellent lots of cucumber lettuce, chicken was not dry it was delicious. Skipper s Fish and Chips tarter sauce was great Fish and Fries cooked to Perfection. The Beer selection excellent. We had Mac and Jack in a nice bar glass frosty cold.

First time here, I tried the buffalo chicken wrap. I got a side of fries as well which I will admit I regretted. The fries were hot and delicious, but the wrap was just MASSIVE. I ended up taking half of it home and eating it later that day. It was killer both times. Like eyes closed doing a little dance while your chewing your food type of good. Also got a cotton candy milkshake because I just couldn’t help myself. Apparently I lit up about it. My fiancé made the comment “Well you sure do look happy. I know what to grab on the way home if your stressed out.” He was not wrong.
The staff was helpful and very friendly despite being busy with an event. The vibe here was very home town restaurant which is arguably the best kind of vibe. We had a great time and will definitely be back for dinners when we don’t feel like cooking.

Couldn’t ask for a better experience. The place oozes with the nostalgia of a local restaurant. The clientele range from young to old among the mask-covered faces. The service was incredibly friendly. Even though it was my first time through, I felt instantly comfortable. The menu is exactly what you’d want from a place like this. We got the cheeseburger and the BLT with a side of fries. Everything was delicious. The BLT was especially well balanced in flavors, textures, and ingredients. I also had the option of sourdough bread which was a major plus. The tables were equipped with the classic red and yellow bottles of ketchup and mustard. Overall, a wonderful place! I will definitely be back!

This is my wife and my go to place when we’re looking for something close to home and we’re not in the mood to cook. The food is solid (good) diner food and the staff is always nice. Tonight I witnessed an act of kindness by the staff that makes me very pleased to continue to support this establishment.

All the people that work at the Cafe are so nice and professional. Especially Tara! We had great burgers. Mushroom Swiss and The Camano. We ate on the newly remodeled patio with our Golden…beautiful. Will be back often!
