Amazing food and great customer service. The first time I came here I would be passing it on my way home and decided to give them a try. From the moment I stepped in there I was treated like family. I tried the strawberry hot sauce on some of my wings on Unk’s recommendation and omg they were amazing. The mac & cheese is exactly how it’s supposed to be too. I don’t live in the area so it’s a little further than I’m willing to drive for food that I’m taking out, but I drive through often enough that I will be back when I’m passing by

It’s hard getting someone on the phone. Food is usually good. Make sure you check to make sure you have all order items in large order. I’ve order 5 times and out of the 4 I’ve experienced these situations so I’m no regular to fully judge all the food. Chicken was always goooood though.

Staff was very friendly and caring I was in sort of a bad mood when I went in but the staff’s upbeat attitude really rubbed off on me and when I walked out with my order j felt a lot better and I hadn’t even eaten yet! The strawberry hot wing sauce was delicious the wings were cooked perfectly as I had ordered extra crispy. The only thing I didn’t love was the fact that the wings were breaded but that’s more of personal preference than an issue with them. The unks punch is a punch they make and sell in the restaurant and it was delicious! Tastes like a perfect punch you get at a party served in the punch bowl. Definitely get some if you like punch. Fresh cut fries were great too.

BEEN BETTER. This Neighbor-hood restaurant that we usually love was really not good this time. Not sure why things have changed or what is going on, but quality isn’t as it normally is.
Examples: The Mac ‘n’ cheese my son and I usually love (we come specifically to get), was bad. This time he refused to eat it. I tried it and I didn’t even want to eat it. It tasted like a different brand of cheese and noodle & was weirdly sour. Yuck!!! We asked why the recipe changed, but got no answer other than must have more spice. Um no completely different product. Also, the pasta salad that is my favorite was bitter and tasted old. Very sad here. Hope things go back to normal or we won’t be returning. Even the wings were not great: some missing sauce some wrong sauce. My picky kid and husband and I were very disappointed.

Thank you all. I had such a hard, physical day today and refuse to cook. I treated my friends to some Unk’s Grub [wings & ribs], got not one but two desserts, and my favorite – Unk’s punch; and now home I’m trying to hurt myself enjoying everything. I tried to call back and say thank you, but I guess a review is good also. So, thank you again for the great service, great food, and wonderful punch.

The service is welcoming… The portion are hardy… The catfish is very good.. Mac & cheese ( the way you know it is suppose to taste)… The green beans just rite… Oh and there are deserts too.. I like the Banana Puffin…. Today. I went to the other side and ordered the ribs…sauce on the side… So very good.. Thank you for shareing your talents with the Community… I would recommend you stopping in and Tring it out… You will not be disappointed….. Tell them “Miss Shirley” suggested it…
