This is a great diner with delicious, home cooked food @ a very reasonable price. The service was great. The owner (I assume he was) was very genuine & nice. He chatted with us when the crowd lessened. If I didn’t live 40 minutes away I’d be a regular.

Dan the new owner has been running this place for the past 7 months, and it will soon be renamed Dan & Son’s. Our server, Beth, was amazing, friendly, attentive, and quick with a smile. The owner, Dan, even came to our table himself, which says a lot about his dedication. You can tell he’s a hardworking business owner.
The atmosphere is cozy, and you can genuinely feel the love in every plate. I’m a picky eater, but I’m so glad we stopped by, we’re definitely coming back! I had scrambled eggs with feta cheese, and you could actually see the feta (a rarity these days). We also ordered the He-Man and Motor City Omelette. The pancakes? Absolutely amazing, fluffy, light, and honestly better than homemade. Dan’s recipe is top notch.
If you’re in the area, this is worth every penny, you should stop by. Let’s support our local business owners who pour their heart into their work.

Don’t live in the area but was down for a fun event and wanted breakfast. So checked Google maps and started paying attention to the ratings of the breakfast restaurants in the area.
JT’s had the almost unheard of rating of 4.7 out of five!!! I give the restaurant, a 5 out of 5 because it was that good!
So I drove a little farther to eat there!
* Extremely extremely good service and so friendly!
* Delicious food! I had the grits bowl with eggs and bacon, a first for me anywhere and it was divine! Divine would also accurately describe the blueberry muffin that was huge and perfect!
* The owners are Hands-On and also incredibly wonderful and friendly!
* Atmosphere is good also and there are lots of wonderful and often antique wall hangings!
* The clientele are also friendly and nice!
* Restaurant is super clean, including the bathrooms, which to me is super important!
* Prices are reasonable and they have specials regularly as well!
* Just like the name hints, they are in a little corner of a small plaza along US1. Easy to miss, if not using Google Maps. Thankfully Google Maps took me right to the door of the restaurant!
The owner’s son was there and he’s a great little kid. An artist friend of mine made a 3D printed General Patton octopus and it’s been riding around on my dashboard for a while now. When I saw this little kid immediately got the subliminal message that General Patton octopus needed to go live with this young man lol
There was an exactly matching real war helmet in the restaurant (as the owner is a veteran)! So that was a lot of fun and the little guy was gracious and grateful!
100% awesome experience!!! Definitely going there next time I’m down in the area!

I just ate the best pancakes I’ve had in years. Pancakes are my favorite food and I’m a pancake connoisseur. These were tender, light, fluffy, and flavorful.
I ordered a short stack with bananas and pecans and two eggs over hard. The eggs were perfectly prepared as well.
Service was fast, friendly, and efficient. The owner also came around greeting people, thanking them for stopping by and making sure they were happy with their food.
I needed a box for some remaining pancakes and my server asked if I wanted some syrup to go. Then I realized the pancakes were so delicious I forgot to add syrup.
