It was just one of those lucky breaks – not knowing the town , I stopped into a bank along Main and asked about where to get pizza in town , as the one in the combo Subway/Pizza near highway is closed for good. They steered me to this place , and I couldn’t be happier with their product ! I will now go out of my way when traveling south from Tomahawk just to get more next time ! Truely a great pizza!

This is a “Carryout” place.
You can also purchase pre-made frozen pizzas to take home as well as pasties.

We grew up with this place and have loved their pizzas over the years. Now that we live away we are not able to enjoy as much but we are glad they offer frozen take and bake that we can enjoy anytime. Whenever we are in town we get one fresh baked pizza and then purchase several frozen to take home with us.

This pizza is DELICIOUS!! It has a rich, buttery flavor in every bite. They take great care with their food; they take great pride in what they do and it shows. They put the little plastic triangle in the middle to make sure the pizza doesn’t get smashed in the box and then they put the pizza in a big paper wrapping to further protect it. I’ve never seen that anywhere else. The prices are reasonable and the staff are friendly. Do yourself a favor and stop in here for a pizza and cheesy breadsticks.

I have been a customer of The Pizza Shop for years. The pizzas are great. They are generously topped and consistently made the same upon each purchase. I have also purchased the two individual slices available Monday through Friday at lunch time. This is a great family owned business that has wonderful friendly staff.

I have been eating the Mulford Family pizzas for 57 years. Had my first one, which at the time was Queenies Pizza when I was nine years old. Which then later Ron and Queenies, and now called The Pizza Shop, owned and run By Ron’s daughter, and Queenies’s granddaughter. For the entire 57 years, it is still by far my favorite Pizza of anywhere in this country. And I can say this because I have had Pizza from everywhere in this country. I say this because I drove over the road semi and I’ve had Pizza from every corner of the United States. I still have not had a Pizza that I like as much as the now Pizza Shop (Queenies) yet. I never understand when I see any reviews about this pizza when they say they didn’t like the crust. I think that the unique dough Recipe that Queenie and Ron came up with decades ago, makes the most amazing pizza crust on earth. The sauce and the ingredients I think are terrific and always have been. But, the signature Mulford crust is my favorite part of the pizza, makes the pizza what it is, and makes it so much better than any other Pizza ever! I am so glad that this business is still going third generation and I hope it keeps going many more generations ♥️

A cute little place with nice prices to match. American style pizza and breadsticks, thick crust. Options were limited for lunch time nothing veggie or even plain cheese in so looses marks for that but overall an okay place if close by.
