Piccolo Buco Roma — set mere steps from Rome’s famed Trevi Fountain — is where Cooper’s Hawk Founder, Tim McEnery, first discovered Chef Luca Issa and his wonderful pizza. The ingredients were deceptively simple: creamy, indulgent mozzarella mingled with a bright and bold tomato sauce. But it was the extraordinary, tall crust — crisp on the outside yet cloud-like at the center — that won his heart. He couldn’t wait to introduce America to a pizza this special!

Piccolo Buco is phenomenal. I just went there with my family after work, and the waitress who attended us had us seated in just 2 minutes after entering. It was packed by the way. The food was pretty good, unless compared to coopers hawk. It’s a good middle ground between cheap and quality, and I’dd rather spend my time here than pay the expenses. The noodles I had were good, and so was the pizza. Our waitress whose name was Iliana was very professional and kind to our table, even complimenting my wife for her nails. Definitely recommend coming here for a good valentines dinner.

We had a great experience at Piccolo Buko. The pizza was excellent — perfectly baked with a flavorful crust, and the calamari were fresh and tasty. The atmosphere is very pleasant, cozy, and inviting, making it a nice spot to relax and enjoy a meal. The prices are definitely on the higher side, which might surprise you a bit, but considering the quality of the food and the overall experience, it’s still worth it. Overall, a very good place to enjoy Italian food.

Piccolo Buco is a new restaurant located at Route 59 corridor. Went here for a early dinner on a Saturday night. I went with the braised beef that was nestled on a bed or mashed potatoes with cherry tomatoes and sauce. The mash potatoes had such an amazing garlic zing to them. The meat was juice and fall apart which is to be expected. Service was above par. Water glasses were always full. Atmosphere was kind of like a upscale bar setting. Only complaint was that portions were pretty small.
People around us ordered personal brick oven pizzas (at least looked like brick oven quality pizza) that looked crispy and full of natural ingredients.
Try this place out for a special occasion or date night.

The food was FANTASTIC!
We were there for restaurant week.
The restaurant is beautiful and well decorated.
Appetizers pasta fagioli (10/10), cesar salad was ok.
For drinks we had mimosa & sweet red.
Entrée: Cacio e pepe & Spaghetti Carbonara. Both were fantastic. I can’t wait to be back for more.
Our only issue was that our appetizers arrived halfway through the main dish, without an explanation to why.

We were sat close to the restrooms amd kitchen with a table back to us with an extra chair…what that meant was we heard the kitchen chatter and the saw the monitor with food orders, heard the constant noise of plateware, got bumped by all the people going to the restroom and the servers trying to get thru it the narrow space between my chair the the bump out chair at the other table…
Our server was polite, but not very attentive- maybe because the other tables he had were scattered and far away…
Our app came before our drinks, and the main entrees took forever. And it was the same with our 2nd round of drinks – almost done with our meal before our $40 flight of wine arrived. Highlight – the spicy shrimp was delicious, as was the truffle pasta…loved it.
No mgr visit to the table, no apologies…did notice a male mgr, assume he is the mgr – hanging around the kitchen and talking to the staff. I had just gotten back in town from a work trip, and wanted to enjoy my night with my spouse – so didn’t bother calling a mgr over & sharing the feedback.
Disappointing experience overall.

Food was great. I really liked the house wine blend and the pizzas were marvelous. The tiramisu dessert was massive and easily fed 5. Prices were reasonable as well.
Service was great too. Food came out real quick.
However I did not like the tables. The marble and wood combo was weird.

We had a wonderful experience at Piccolo Bucco by Cooper’s Hawk! My mom and I shared the pepperoni pizza and spaghetti carbonara; both were delicious, perfectly cooked, and beautifully presented. The pizza had great flavor and a perfect crust, and the carbonara was creamy and rich without being heavy. We also split a bottle of wine that paired perfectly with our meal. I love that we can use our Cooper’s Hawk rewards and points here; it makes the visit even better! The service was warm and attentive, and the atmosphere felt upscale yet relaxed. We’ll definitely be back soon!

Really enjoy this place. Was in Rome last fall and the best Cacio e pepe I have had since Rome. Really a nice menu and ambiance. I enjoyed tasting the Piccolo Buco exclusive Italian wines from Cooper’s Hawk as well. Definitely recommend eating here if you haven’t yet.

I’m overjoyed that we have this establishment in our community! From start to finish, the experience was exceptional. Skyler, our server, was unmatched—professional, attentive, and genuinely dedicated to making our lunch date special. I kept thanking my husband for making the reservation. Truly a priceless experience. We’ll absolutely be back!
