We used this adorable place for a bridal shower where the groom was also invited… the perfect brew. As guest arrived, they ordered a courtesy drink and we had flat bread pizzas. They let us bring in our dessert… and allowed us to play coffee/tea themed games. We spilled out onto the porch for extra room. The price was very reasonable for the 20 of us.

Great staff and good selection of bakery goods. Even some gluten free!
Separate restrooms for families and individuals to make it easier for those with kids.

Such a cute place! Fast friendly service. The sandwiches were great but the cookies were even better. They make a lemon blueberry cookie that is just out of this world. Definitely a great little lunch spot.

I asked for 2 blueberry muffins yesterday along with an iced latte – the latte was on time and delicious, but after 15 mins of waiting I went to check on them, seeing people behind me getting their food first. The barista made eye contact with me and walked away, came back and took the muffins out of the case and said “sorry, it’ll be a second – we’re backed up.” Knowing full well she forgot – which I get, Saturdays are busy, but she could’ve just said she forgot. Then another 10 mins went by (all they needed to do was stick them in the microwave for a few seconds), I went back up and another barista came to help – he said he could do it quickly but at that point I needed to leave so I asked to just take them cold. I found the original girl just sitting on the floor in the kitchen, talking to other employees. Usually I wouldn’t say anything but this is irritating when we have fussy babies with us too and no one seems to care about their work or the customers

The worst experience I’ve ever had at a coffee shop. We waited over 30 minutes for a “to go” order that they forgot about. It was a busy day but everyone kept getting served before us and I kept checking and they didn’t acknowledge us for over 30 minutes… The food was also inedible. We ordered avocado toast and it was about a teaspoon of avocado spread (not exaggerating) on rock hard bread. They accidentally added an egg patty to the avocado toast also, which isn’t the biggest deal but shows their lack of quality control. I’ve read other reviews regarding the owner hiring high school students which is great but you need to train them, invest into the community by creating hard workers who are proud of their work, and not just take advantage of cheap labor. There was one girl working at the time that was great but she disappeared for a while, but I thought she could have handled the place. The avocado was only on one side and when I opened it up she said sorry it’s supposed to be on both sides. I had to remind them to add the everything bagel seasoning. The bread would break your teeth. Then we also ordered a bacon egg and cheese croissant that was as inedible. The croissant was also rock hard – see the photo where I’m squeezing it and it doesn’t compress (I am actually squeezing it very hard). Then there is this tiny egg patty on top with a tiny piece of bacon. I would have been embarrassed to serve that if it were my shop. I am visiting in town and the place looked really cute from outside and it was a complete disappointment. I’m pretty shocked it gets traffic, it’s probably due to the lack of competition so the bar is pretty low. They didn’t even offer to refund part of the order or remake the coffee that we had sitting for 30 minutes that we were taking to go… what a shame because this place has potential but is obviously lacking in more than one area. I did enjoy the flavor of my coffee, but it wasn’t worth waiting 30+ minutes for.

Everything is overpriced, employees have little understanding for anything. Food took forever and didn’t get one of our orders right in any way. They are looking to rob you at any corner. Do not come here unless you have money you want to throw away. (The sandwich is an 8 dollar sandwich by the way)

Chipotle chicken croissant, side salad, lemon cranberry muffin and the Sky latte from the March menu(description in a photo). Recently discovered and stopped in on my way to Powell Gardens. It was great and I’ll go back for sure.

This place was so cute!! Felt like I was walking into someone’s home. Scones were delicious and my cappuccino was great. Great stop going to or from Lee’s Summit. They even have some outdoor seating! Highly recommend for a light breakfast or lunch. Great place to sit and catch up with friends.
