Stopped in here instead of a chain and really enjoyed it. I got the super cheesesteak which was piping hot and a very good size for the price. Grabbed on the run so not a great pic but definitely will try again.

Basically this place is one of the best sandwich shop in all of Northeast ohio, it’s basically the closest thing to a mom-and-pop owned Jersey Mike’s or east coast deli.
They make some of their meats in house that they put on the sandwiches, all the toppings are always extremely fresh and they have their own house made vinaigrette to put on any good Italian sub.
The place on its face does not look very impressive, it really is the closest thing to a hole in the wall sub shop. It’s owned by the same people for years and is a pillar of the mentor community. A lot of businesses and they typically will deliver if you are ordering a significant amount of sandwiches.

I ordered this on DoorDash as I was stuck in meetings all day. I got a buffalo chicken sub, which I was nervous to get delivered because I don’t live super close and didn’t want a soggy mess, but really wanted it! And an Italian sub for later for dinner (pictured). I also ordered Mac salad and pasta salad. The buff chicken sub wasn’t soggy at all, and it was good! Not the best over ever had (here’s looking at you Charley’s). Now the Italian sub was AMAZING. So so good. The Mac salad was not to my personal taste (pretty sweet), but I’m sure people love it, and the pasta salad was good. Please give them a try!!

Best sub ever. This is the hot Italian, the bread is awesome, like a soft French bread. Love this place, it’s my new go to hot spot.!! And the Philly cheesesteak is soooo good.!! Ok I had to come back and get the Hot Italian Burger Sub. Man this is some good stuff!!!!

Best subs in town! I got super chicken philly that was 16 inches long for 14 bucks and it was STUFFED! I bared could finish it and easily could be split into two meals! Staff was great too.

I’m from the east coast of pa. so we like our cheesesteaks. I was looking forward to trying one here, but was highly disappointed. I thought they forgot the meat and I had to open the sandwich just to see if it had any on it. If you’re expecting philly style look elsewhere.

I drove from Madison to Mentor to try this place, and am glad I did. This was the best cheesesteak sandwich that I have outside of Philly and the two dudes behind the counter are awesome !!! I highly recommend Tommy’s
