we got 1 order of vegetable chow fun and spicy fried wontons to share for 2 people. they provided 2 small plates so we could serve up individually. the chow fun was really flavorful and not too greasy, I enjoyed it. the spicy wontons came out really hot and had a nice crunch. the wontons themselves weren’t spicy – they came with a chili oil(?) dipping sauce for the heat. the thai tea was pretty standard. adding boba cost an additional 0.75 and they only had crystal which the server made me aware of upon ordering.

the server that helped us was very friendly and welcoming. they opened the door for us and answered clarifying questions we had about the menu items. we came a bit too early for the happy hour prices but I’ll definitely keep that in mind for next time.

When you first walk in the restraunt seems decent, nothing stands out as bad.

Although I probably should have taken us being the only people in the place as a warning sign, but we were already there so i wanted to try it out. After all its the cheapest chinese place in the area.

I got potstickers and my company got the sesame chicken dinner combo.

Immediately the chowmein had a weird taste, we think it tasted like the exhaust gasses from the wok flame.

My potstickers were… Okay. I could tell they came frozen and they just put them in the deep fryer and served them. The sauce that came with it is what made them edible.

The person i was with described their food as “getting worse with each bite. After a few bites the rice started to have the same exhaust gassy flavor as the chowmein.” The sesame chicken had a nice crunchy shell and the sauce tasted good, but the actual chicken meat had the taste and texture like it was ground up discarded meat from a chicken that was reconstituted into a nugget shape. Kinda like McDonald’s nuggets but somehow worse.

The boba tea was good, that is the only thing i can recommend. I got black milk tea and my partner got green milk tea and those were the only things we took out from the restaurant, even tho both of our plates still had large amounts of leftovers.

Would not come back after this experience.

We ate before our camera did. The food was delicious. We just happened to be in the parking lot and decided to stop by. Our waiter was great and recommended everything we ordered. The soup dumpling 10/10, the seasame chicken 10/10, the beef and onion meat pie 10/10. We will be back soon!

Hidden Dumpling House in Elk Grove is not a big restaurant, but it’s very busy most of the time because of the yummy food. I love their XLB and other dishes—they’re so delicious and fresh. The workers are very friendly. The dining room is not the best, but it’s nice and clean. The parking lot is safe, and getting a space near the restaurant is easy.

My family and I love this little spot in Elk Grove. Their portions are generous and their food tastes fresh and delicious! We keep coming back for their Seafood Fried Rice but we always sub for Chicken and we love their Spicy Green Beans!

My husband and I were on the hunt for an early dinner and this place had a great menu. It wasn’t too busy at 4pm in a Friday and we sat right away. The staff was quick, friendly and attentive.

I ordered a combo of sweet n sour chicken, my husband ordered deluxe pan fried noodles and we ordered chicken cilantro dumplings to share.

The portions are huge! We had plenty to take for leftovers. All of the food was so fresh tasting and not too salty or greasy. My husband wanted his pan fried noodles more crispy; there was a lot of sauce on them and they got soggy, but they were still so good. My chicken was the best I’ve ever had! So crispy and fresh!

Super friendly staff! Was greeted right away by a very outgoing and friendly staff member and very quickly got our to go order, 0 wait time. The food was sooo so so so so good. We got two combos, sweet and sour pork, the kungpao beef, and the pork chive dumplings on the side. The plates were really good however the dumplings were sureally good. I want to to go and just order only dumplings. These dumplings were so good they will literally haunt my taste buds until I get them again.

In a nutshell; Does seem a bit pricier than other similar themed places but the service and food are really good.

Have been to this place twice , one a few years back and one just recently and I’d say they’re still as good if not better than I remember. There’s a lot of parking as it is situated in a lot with other businesses so there’s parking around even in busy hours. It may be difficult to get a big party in the establishment as the most they have are 4 people tables and the place isn’t all that big but I’m sure they will work and accommodate as best they can. Servers are great and kind. Food didn’t take long at all. At the time there were drawings on the wall, maybe they had an event involving an art program with children or what not which gave a bit of a home-y feel to the place. Overall good tasting food, bit pricey than usual but definitely left feeling completely satisfied and stuffed.

This was a return visit to a different location in the sacramento area . The first was in midtown . This one is in alk Grove. We came out last year to the mid town spot. We had to come back for a repeat it was that good . This location was not as busy but still very small . The gentleman who waited on us remembered our visit to the other location a year prior. So that was cool . As the last time very clean and has an open kitchen fun to watch these guys cook in their big woks. The tables are a bit small for how the food is served when ordering family style .y only thing is the boa you get 3 for a pretty hefty price so for 5 of us we decided not to try those however everything is absolutely amazing. All the flavors and cook on each item were to perfection. We visit sacramento every year, and this is on our list each time. From now on .

Walked in after errands. This place is a hidden gem! The walnut prawns are huge and the Mongolian beef is to die for. Even their steam rice is so fluffy and the hot tea is piping hot!
This is a busy and clean place. Tables are for 4 people. Small dining area, but I highly recommend the food. Watch their expert chefs cook. Full house for a weekday lunch. Be patient with service. This looks like family owned and a lot of people ordered for To Go and dined in while I was there.
I highly recommend this place.
