the server that helped us was very friendly and welcoming. they opened the door for us and answered clarifying questions we had about the menu items. we came a bit too early for the happy hour prices but I’ll definitely keep that in mind for next time.
Although I probably should have taken us being the only people in the place as a warning sign, but we were already there so i wanted to try it out. After all its the cheapest chinese place in the area.
I got potstickers and my company got the sesame chicken dinner combo.
Immediately the chowmein had a weird taste, we think it tasted like the exhaust gasses from the wok flame.
My potstickers were… Okay. I could tell they came frozen and they just put them in the deep fryer and served them. The sauce that came with it is what made them edible.
The person i was with described their food as “getting worse with each bite. After a few bites the rice started to have the same exhaust gassy flavor as the chowmein.” The sesame chicken had a nice crunchy shell and the sauce tasted good, but the actual chicken meat had the taste and texture like it was ground up discarded meat from a chicken that was reconstituted into a nugget shape. Kinda like McDonald’s nuggets but somehow worse.
The boba tea was good, that is the only thing i can recommend. I got black milk tea and my partner got green milk tea and those were the only things we took out from the restaurant, even tho both of our plates still had large amounts of leftovers.
Would not come back after this experience.
I ordered a combo of sweet n sour chicken, my husband ordered deluxe pan fried noodles and we ordered chicken cilantro dumplings to share.
The portions are huge! We had plenty to take for leftovers. All of the food was so fresh tasting and not too salty or greasy. My husband wanted his pan fried noodles more crispy; there was a lot of sauce on them and they got soggy, but they were still so good. My chicken was the best I’ve ever had! So crispy and fresh!
Have been to this place twice , one a few years back and one just recently and I’d say they’re still as good if not better than I remember. There’s a lot of parking as it is situated in a lot with other businesses so there’s parking around even in busy hours. It may be difficult to get a big party in the establishment as the most they have are 4 people tables and the place isn’t all that big but I’m sure they will work and accommodate as best they can. Servers are great and kind. Food didn’t take long at all. At the time there were drawings on the wall, maybe they had an event involving an art program with children or what not which gave a bit of a home-y feel to the place. Overall good tasting food, bit pricey than usual but definitely left feeling completely satisfied and stuffed.
This is a busy and clean place. Tables are for 4 people. Small dining area, but I highly recommend the food. Watch their expert chefs cook. Full house for a weekday lunch. Be patient with service. This looks like family owned and a lot of people ordered for To Go and dined in while I was there.
I highly recommend this place.
