THIS IS AN ABSOLUTE MUST TRY! I have been searching for a place that sells soul food for so long and I finally found it. I didn’t expect it to taste almost exactly like my mom’s recipes! In fact, it was better (sorry mom). I didn’t get a picture of the corn bread, but as someone who makes pretty dang good cornbread, I have to admit they beat me. The fried chicken was falling off the bone, seasoned to perfection, and a huge portion. The chicken fingers were cooked so well, beautifully seasoned, and still crispy even after a 15 minute drive home sitting in a to-go container. The mac and cheese was exactly what I was looking for as well as the greens. I love when food is actually seasoned and not bland. It makes or breaks it if I will return or not. I know for a fact I will be returning here and probably become a regular lol. Please try this place it was phenomenal! Oh I forgot to mention I ordered right before they closed and even tho I arrived after 8pm they still made sure I was able to get my order. They actually brought it out to me. 5 stars across the board!

– Ox tails okay. Needed more gravy. (Not Jamaican style).
– Greens okay. No seasoning.
– Yams? See pic. What is this? No yams pieces. VERY sweet.
– Wings burnt. No seasoning.
– Sweet potato pie. Taste better than it looks.
I’m so disappointed. And still hungry.

Coming from Boston, let me tell u. All we wanted to do was find some good soul food! Finding this little gem was such a come up! Not only is the food AMAZINGGGG.. it’s seasoned to perfection! It’s totally giving “southern soul food” and not those little knock off spots! I promise u won’t be disappointed! The Owner and cook was very very hospitable! Super friendly!! I wish I had more time down here to come back and try more but whenever I do come back to Florida, I will be sure to make this a priority stop!

So I come from a place that I can go down any block and get whatever type of food I want. Sometimes numerous spots for oxtails, depending on my mood Jamaican/soul etc. I’m happy I called today . I have tried everything but the cornbread so far and everything is just perfect. The OXTAILS were the main event and they are delicious and well seasoned! Next time I’ll try the potato salad and Lima beans for sides. Just to see if I like anything better than the other lol. This meal came to 27.31. And I gave a 3 dollar tip to the young gentleman who brought it out to my car. So is it worth 30.31 ? Who knows, I rather pay and be done with it, instead of cooking and clean up when my oxtail cravings arrive. I will

We were blown away by this restaurant. I didn’t get any pictures because we were so hungry and scarfed it down but we got: fried chicken, fried pork chop, collard greens, mac n cheese, potato salad, and yams. The yams were the best I’ve ever had. Food was overall incredible, so glad we stopped it will be our go to would food restaurant!!!

The food was so good n that coolaid man they should start selling gallons. The customer service was exceptional especially wen the chief asked how we liked the meal he prepared. That impressed me and the food was delish. Felt like we knew them n had come thru often but was actually our first time there. We will defiantly be bak! Oh n they deliver this is where I drops the mike!

Second time I ordered 3 sides chicken dinner with lemonade and carrot cake and had it delivered everything was hot and fresh and so good !!! I was very disappointed love support my people but my people don’t support me. Called in to buy 15 piece chicken wing Wednesday that’s on the menu, The men I talked to over the phone gave me one price but ended up swiping my card for an extra $10… with a total of $31 For 15 Burnt wings when I asked about it he told me prices are subject to change and that it says it in the in the front of the menu in small print SMH ♀️ Bad customer service and experience will not be returning

Owners were very professional courteous the foooood I’ma say it again fooood was sooo good flavorful I’m definitely going back again the fried chicken was cooked to order I also ordered oxtail dinner and let me tell you it was falling off the bone she also gave us a sample of banana pudding words can not explain how I’m feeling right now I feel so good the drive was worth every taste way from Riverview yes I said it Riverview I will be back again this week I love to support small businesses especially if the food and staff is worth it nevermind the price I will pay for what it’s worth thank ma’am I really enjoyed the conversations and history of how you got started it was very intriguing and beautiful
