Super traditional Indian restaurant in an amazing traditional Kentish Town. If you’re coming this way I would recommend stopping by for your evening meal. Suitable for family and a really nice welcoming atmosphere. Thank you

Small cozy indian restaurant, the service was lovely, the staff friendly, food came more quickly than expected and was absolutely delicious.
Menu has lots of traditional indian food, cooked well, with a very clean, pleasant interior. If you are in Tenterden and in the mood for an Indian meal I can’t recommend this restaurant enough.

Really good Indian, great service and choice of vegetarian dishes. Would recommend the saag paneer and an egg man for dessert!

Pretty disappointed with flavours, this is not Indian cuisine I got used to. I was expecting way more from 4.7 star restaurant. Lack of flavour hard to chew lamb, bland curry with weird sweetness

I visit this restaurant regularly and I must say it’s the best around , being a curry lover we have tried various restaurants around Kent, this is just amazing every time we go here! Food is perfect every time! Staff are excellent and do a great job. This restaurant is a definite go to without doubt !

Overall we were very happy with the order. Good portions, seasoning and spices. We will order again.
One negative however would be that the biryani rice had some salad on top, and a big slice of cucumber and tomato which became warm and soggy because it’s in a sealed container. Put the salad in a separate pot to fix this problem.

Terrible experience. Called to order takeaway but as we get there they say they didn’t get the order. Waited for another 10 minutes, food’s finally ready and we were told by an unapologetic staff that “we got your order but decided not to cook as the call you made could be a scam and we decided to wait until you arrive”. Brought them home fresh under 5 minutes, Briyani was completely unseasoned and bland as if its from the garden, naans soggy, chicken tikka massala tasted like a dessert. I’d rate 0 star if at all possible.

We were excited to try this after reading the positive reviews and the starters got us off to a promising start. However our mains were definitely not spiced enough. I had a bhuna which had no heat at all (meant to be medium) and lacked flavour. The lamb mulli on the other hand was so oily and sickly that it left both of us feeling quite nauseous after just a couple of bites. on finishing the meal they asked if it was ok and we said yes apart from the lamb dish, and they could see that we hadn’t eaten much of it at all. This would have been a good point to offer to discount that dish, but we were charged full price for the meal.
With how good the reviews were we wondered if it was their second chef, rather than head chef, who prepared this as it was a quiet Sunday evening. If this is the case then it could be worth some additional training for the second chef.
On the plus side, we did think it was reasonably priced, the portions were good and the starters, rice, naan, poppadoms were good. But the main dishes definitely disappointed. I have taken my bhuna as takeaway though and will add my own spices at home.
Edit – the bhuna smelt so bad on opening the fridge this morning so it went in the bin.

We booked our table for two on Saturday night and had a friendly greet when we arrived. The restaurant was spotless and ALL the staff were warming and gave excellent service throughout our meal. King Prawn Tikka starter was excellent, followed by Chicken Tikka Madras which was one of the best I’ve every experience, on Mushroom Rice, Saga Aloo and a very tasty Chilli Nann bread. All reasonably priced too. I’m so pleased we have this on our door step. Will be visiting this little gem again very soon. Paul
