I give this place 3 stars only because the staff was friendly. I found a wooden toothpick in the middle of the wrap, good thing I didn’t poke my mouth or crack a tooth, but it was unpleasant regardless. After I called back to let them know, they explained that they use toothpicks to keep the wrap together. While I understand their point, they should’ve let me know so I knew what to expect inside. Otherwise, you’re left wondering if someone dropped it by mistake, or whether it was new or used. While they give you a big portion, the meat is not the best quality, you can tell by the smell and taste.

I had the cevapi at Babba Grill and they were absolutely delicious—perfectly greasy in the best way. The portion came with crispy fries, fresh salad, plenty of onions, and a generous serving of creamy kaymak that brought everything together. The Macedonians know what they’re doing—and they did it right. Highly recommend!

It was my first time ever visiting. The restaurant has a nice ambiance, staff greeted you upon entering. They staff was also very helpful in explaining the meun and what certain dish included.

Chicken is way over cooked and dry and tastes like it was previously frozen. Salad was tomatoes and lettuce. The ribs were frozen then put on grill, they were dry so I thru them out. They taste like ketchup not bbq sauce. Fries taste like old grease. Potatoes were good. Staff friendly. Def. Not worth $55.

It was lunchtime and we were hungry as we passed through the area, so we dropped in after hearing so many great things about Babba Grill and seeing them on social media over the years. The hype is real, y’all! There are extremely few restaurants across the entire country that offer Macedonian specialties – Balkan, yes, but specifically Macedonian, no. We wanted to try so many things but we forgot to bring an extra stomach.
We ordered the pljeskavica plate, the kebapi/čevapi plate (each plate comes with a choice of two sides but DH ordered double fries), and an entire burek (with meat), fully anticipating plenty of leftovers and burek to share. Everything was served hot, fresh, and absolutely delicious!
The meats were perfectly and authentically seasoned. The burek was fresh and crispy on the outside, tender and meaty on the inside. We shared one slice to take advantage of it coming fresh from the oven, and then took the remainder with us. They carry a lot of beverage options- everything from American sodas to Mexican Coca Cola, Macedonian Gazoza, and Macedonian beer, among others!
The interior was clean, albeit a bit kitschy, and service was adequate even though there was a misunderstanding about the timing of our food. The waitress informed us the burek takes around 30 minutes and asked if we wanted our meals to come before the burek or the same time. We were starving, so we asked for the meals to come first. That didn’t happen. However, that was our only and ever-so-slight disappointment. Easily forgivable!
While we waited, we enjoyed listening to a Macedonian radio station that played various Balkan music. Very nostalgic!
We are looking forward to future visits when we are in the area!

Have a Macedonian co-worker, so he took me here. The place is small with an even smaller parking lot. The back patio was a great spot to eat outside.
I can’t recall the name of the burger I ordered, but it was stuffed with good cheese and a lot of it. The bun was unique, too. Honestly, I’m ruined ordering a juicy Lucy from Minnesota in the future. The cabbage and tomato worked well with it. Maybe a little more of it would have been better for my taste with such a large burger. Not a complaint though. There are lots of interesting menu items I wish I could have tried, but I can only eat so much. The mayo they served with the fries was tweaked, and I have no clue what is in it. It tastes great, and I never wanted ketchup.
The pizza looked so good on the menu. I really wish I ordered it as well.
It’s definitely a friendly place and a decent level of service.
If it wasn’t so far to get to, I would definitely return and try more dishes. Give this place a try. I’d give it a 4.5 out of 5.

Great place to get a delicious and affordable shawarma. The chicken shawarma is delicious, juicy, and well-seasoned. The restaurant is nicely decorated and the staff is friendly and helpful. Prices are affordable, too. The only downside is that the restaurant can get quite busy during peak hours. All in all, it is a great spot for a quick and tasty shawarma meal.
