We paid $40 for semi-edible food.
My girlfriend and her Mom used to come here with family and it was lovely, but this place has deciiitely gone down hill.
We went today, and the server who we had was lovely, but the food did not really look edible for the most part. Whatever you do, don’t eat the fish because it all smells fishy and stuff looks like it’s been out for days.
We had the egg drop soup, lo Mein, and different chickens and it was all super oily and had a funky taste.
The kicker is that none of the staff eat what is on the bar. They will take plates from the back and come out with stuff that wasn’t even being served on the bar. Completely different dishes.
My girlfriend ate the sweet and sour chicken because the nuggets were inedible and rubbery. While eating the sweet and sour chicken my gf bit into it and there was weird black stuff inside the chicken. Could have been a vein but it didn’t look good.
I’m worried we may get sick later seeing the other reviews about getting sick. We will have to wait and see. This place has gone very down hill. It’s disappointing to see.

Absolutely gross never been to a worse Chinese place we came in looked at the food and said nope and returned our plates and left. I’ve never done that in my life ! Food was gross looked to be sitting for days. Cookies in a box on the table not on ice not on bar had flies around it. Allowing a man to take large metal pans from bar back to table to dump onto his plate. Green beans literally looked like caned beans dumped in butter!
I’ve never been more grossed out in a restaurant and will not return but cannot even believe the reviews were so good cause it’s not reflected there !

Absolute worst food i have ever seen and the place is dirty. I will never go back to that place completely disgusting. We paid and left after seeing the food. We thought it would be nice like the one in Gallipolis but is was not even close. Would not recommend anyone eating at that place unless you want food poisoning.

Sometimes the lady at the front can be overwhelmed and can come off as demanding but the FOOD is absolutely 100% also been fresh regardless is I Eat in the buffet or Take Out food . Definitely a good Chinese restaurant around Considering there’s others places miles from town . Over all experience it’s great I’ll recommend to anyone one bad experience does. Not make it a bad restaurant.

Very cozy, lovely service, somewhat dry food but either way tastes great! You can definitely tell it’s a small little restaurant locally owned, which adds to its charm!

It was ok. Probably not going to go back. There are much better Chinese buffets, but this is the only one in Waverly. Food was good. Not many choices though and many were odd things not normally on Chinese buffets. Food was oddly arranged too. It was clean and staff was friendly, but the food was less than par.

Food was cold. Couldn’t even eat one plate. Disgusting. The poor guy that waited on us was running around like he was on fire. The Asian lady working with him didn’t act like she knew what she was doing. My boyfriend said he’s ate at alot of Chinese places over the years and this was the worst one because of the food. Very, very disappointed. We will never eat there again and will inform our friends not to either. The only thing good there was the waiter.
