Part of Humdingers Petrol Station. Very clean dine-in area. Friendly service. Not a long wait for a family meal. Good fish and chips, chicken planks, chips, cole slaw, and hush puppies. Been awhile since last here, but still good food with a short wait. Ordered takeaway, offered condiments and happy malt vinegar was available.

I was really impressed with the hospitality that was shown to us as we ordered five minutes before closing their dinner ( drive through was still open for another hour ). And of course I have been coming here for years and I have enjoyed ever visit. If you’re in the Montrose area and you looking for a blast from the past or your childhood, this is definitely the place!!!!

We visited today 10/17/22. Food was great as always but I wanted to make special mention of the service. Pam waited on us at the counter and she was friendly, helpful and professional in her duties. She is definitely an asset for this location.

Excellent service once again! We always stop when we are in the area and this place never disappoints. Today our food came out hot, fresh and neatly packaged. The service was excellent and very efficient. Way to go Thursday day crew! We appreciate you 🙂

Excellent. Cashier taking the order was new (5 hours until her training). Manager was over her left shoulder greeting incoming crowd and assisting cashier as needed. We arrived at the lunch rush. What great service, no delays, food was hot, delivered within minutes. All the orders were going out as fast as they were being ordered. Good fish and chips, sampler player was an example of everything on the long john meanie. Clean tables and the young lady was in the eating area, cleaning tables washing surfaces and asking customer if she could get anything for them.

When you buy a hamburger meal at these prices you expect the meal to be worth what you are paying. The prices keep going up but you get the same quantities as you paid for a couple years ago. If you are going to charge more then you need to give more. Such as the French fries they have stayed the same for years. If you want a large fry then you have to pay more.

Very nice long John silver’s in a gas station. It was nice and large… Very clean. All of the condiments were full and when something went low, the staff quickly filled it. Our fish, chicken strips, hush puppies and onion rings were fried just right and were delicious. The whole experience was above expectations. Highly recommend.
