I consumed 500 metric tons of free chips, 2 enchiladas, a lot of beans + rice. I unhinged my jaw and unleashed the beast that could only be satiated through the sacrifice of many a Mexican dish. 10/10 would eat again.

First things first my husband and I decided to stop at this place since it was recommended to us by a friend. This place was not friendly at all the guy never even brought us water and when asked what we wanted for drinks he seemed very inpatient and rude. We ordered our food and I ordered the tacos al carbon and my husband ordered the carne asada the rice was dry and the beans tasted from out of a can. And the one thing that truly and really weirded me out was the fact that my tacos had parmesan cheese on them PARMESAN CHEESE DOES NOT BELONG ON MEXICAN FOOD !!! While my husband and I were eating I looked up and noticed this bull type prop on the wall that had dust and spider webs on it immediately grossed me out. Our waiter that was serving us never came to check on us or to ask how things were going. Definitely won’t be coming back.

Food was horrible you can taste the can food. The salsa was watered down that consisted of tomato sauce, chili powder, oregano and onions. The chili relijeno burrito all you had was tons in canned beans very little of the chili relijeno and the guacamole tasted like it had soap in it. The ground beef in the street burrito was hard and burnt like had been sitting there all day. Definitely will not being going back.

We have eaten here many times and have never been disappointed. The service is always fast and friendly. Whether it is dine in or take out, we haven’t had a complaint. I think they still deliver locally.

We’ve eaten here before with no complaints but this time the chicken fajitas were a joke! Was hard pressed to find ANY small skimpy pieces of chicken! Super tiny amount of sour cream and guac! None of us were happy with our portions!! It’s sad when restaurants cut back so much because keeping customers coming back is what keeps you in business! Won’t be back!!

So I’m guessing you’re attempting to insult me for sharing an order of chicken fajitas with my 8 year old? The point being, DO BETTER and add a sufficient amount of CHICKEN to your CHICKEN fajitas. The portion was a joke! Luckily there are MUCH better choices for Mexican food in McMinnville. Will spend money and support establishments that actually value their customers and can take constructive criticism instead of deflecting the issue!

Bummed. I called to place a to go order and the lady seemed so bothered and said “just a second!” And I waited on the phone for 14 minutes with background of clanking of dishes. Tried calling back and call wouldn’t go through. The person was going to grab my food on their way through this town. :-/

We finally stopped at El Toro Loco in Amity after driving by uncountable times traveling back and forth from Philomath to Beaverton. We were Pleasantly surprised! The food was very good and served swiftly and hot. Good chips and good salsa arrived right away. I asked for an enchilada made with cheese and onions, a chili relleno, rice, beans, corn tortillas and side of pico de gallo. Everything was delicious, especially the chili relleno which was the best I’ve had in a long time – very much like home made. Also, the prices were quite reasonable, we will stop in again!

Rude staff who did not come and check on us one time other than dropping the food off. Very small portions per plate at our last visit which has NOT been the norm when we’ve visited, so something has changed. Others have said the place was going downhill but I didn’t agree until our recent visit. I don’t think we will be back.

We went in the evening and it was a fun bar atmosphere. The food has good flavor, lots of it. My only issue was that I ordered a combo of chicken burrito and Enchilada with a pork tamale. The Enchilada and tamale were great. The burrito only had chicken in it. The seasoning was good, I just expected more than chicken in a flour Tortilla.
