Thanksgiving meal and the kiddos ate it up! They love anything Asian so I’m glad they were open. Nice atmosphere, very nice staff. Good food. I especially loved the Sauteed Chinese Broccoli. My daughter loved the pan fried pork dumplings.

I previously enjoyed a family meal at Fung Mei in Duluth, where the restaurant had a solid reputation at the time. This was my first visit to their Suwanee location, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The location is convenient with easy access and ample parking. I was pleasantly surprised by how spacious and open the interior felt, perhaps even a bit too open, as it lacked some of the cozy atmosphere I remembered from the Duluth branch. As for the food, while everything tasted fresh and well-prepared, I found the lunch portions to be slightly smaller than I expected. Despite that, the overall experience was enjoyable, and I look forward to coming back to explore more of their menu.

This place is not your typical Chinese food place. You can taste and see the level of care they put into not only their food but the atmosphere when you walk in. The food was fresh and still hot even when I ordered for pickup (and I was late) and still tasted great. Best part is that the portions were so big, I had leftovers for the next day.
I highly recommend anyone who is craving GOOD Chinese food but has been hurt too many times by other establishments. This place is a guaranteed good, I promise. I can’t wait to come back and try their other options. I had the wonton soup and the Mapu Tofu. I don’t even like Tofu much but this place made me a fan. My wife had the sweet and sour soup and the Udon Noodle soup. It was delicious and I highly recommend it to anyone willing to give it a try.

I went back for lunch at work and each one of my coworkers have talked about coming back with their families later. Maybe we should gatekeep this place because it’s amazing. Ate inside and had Mongolian beef, orange chicken, sesame chicken, and broccoli and beef combos with egg drop soup.

A good place to eat, the atmosphere is calm, the service is good, and the food was delicious. I give it a 9/10. They lack a bit of variety in their drinks since they only have sodas. The prices were good in comparison to the price. Recommended, I will come back again!

We just had lunch here. It was very quiet. The food was so different from what I expected. It tasted so light abd healthy!! We got a variety of appetizers and then lo mein. Nothing was greasy or too sweet, rather it tasted healthy and full of complex flavors!! The only issue i had was that they did not stagger the dishes well. What I mean by this is that the appetizers and main entree arrived at the same time. Other than that, I highly recommend this place!!!!!

.Fung Mei in Suwanee is a fantastic spot that’s definitely worth checking out. Having moved from its original location in Doraville to Duluth and now to Suwanee, the restaurant has really settled into a great space. The inside is clean, well-maintained, and inviting, creating a pleasant dining environment. The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive, making the experience even more enjoyable. The food came out quickly, which is always a plus. While the flavors are good and enjoyable, they might not be standout compared to other similar restaurants, but the price, location, and cleanliness of the place make it an excellent choice. I’ll definitely be coming back!

We returned to Fung Mei for lunch today and tried the sautéed 8 delicacies with white sauce instead of brown sauce. It was delicious and not too salty. The seafood was fresh, the shrimp was a bit over cooked today, but the garlic and ginger added a nice flavor. If you’re craving delicious egg fried rice, fresh vegetables, and sweet and sour fish, you should visit Fung Mei. My daughter loves the little juicy dumplings. Our whole family enjoys dining at this restaurant! It offers clean, flavorful food and friendly service, all within a family-owned establishment that has been around for many years. ❤️

Go expecting good food and a NEW restaurant.
My son loves their spicy noodles. We are Spanish American and love all types of Asian foods and always looking for a good spot. I’ve been twice and have plans to go again with different family, as they have a few dishes I’ve never had before.
I say NEW restaurant because I avoided going because of the bad reviews and when I read them more I decided most were comparing it to an old restaurant and wanting that same food and experience and that’s just not how it’s worked out. But their food is still good and staff is super nice and helpful in making your choices. Have we had more authentic Chinese, yes. But it doesn’t mean this isn’t good and worthy of a visit.

The food was good… there wasn’t anything wrong with it, it just wasn’t anything more than so many decent Chinese restaurants owned by Korean families.
However, if you are dining in, Jenny was an absolute joy to have as our server! Ask to get her tables!
