We stopped going here for many years. They never had food ready (always 45 min to 2 hr wait). The service had so much to be desired. We recently tried it again. We were beyond impressed with the new store manager Rob. He took well care of us. Had great customer service skills. Along with a short wait on our food. Great job Rob!! You’ve really turned that place around.

I know the wait times can get a little long but I can confirm I have never had a bad interaction with the staff. I don’t go all the time but when I do the team members are always so nice and so fun to interact with! I wish I knew names to call them out but good job! Keep my fries and KFC sauce coming!!!

I was contacted by a gentleman named Robert who did an outstanding job with customer service. He assured me he would work on corrective actions.

He was also kind enough to replace the meal.

The service at this location is so subpar, they have a sign saying they don’t do refunds. That should tell you something.

I didn’t see the sign until after I waited for about 20 minutes and went into the restaurant and the employees refused to give me a refund.

Extremely slow and rude staff. A simple order of 4 chicken tenders took over 20 minutes with an empty drive thru and empty lobby.

The staff yelled at me and told me I needed to move from the drive through because I was on their timer and it makes them look bad. In my experience with fast food, this is often done for restaurants to fudge their numbers and make them look like they’re hitting their targets when they are not.

When I went inside, a shorter, slim looking individual who presented herself as the manager was incredibly rude and ignored me for a very long time when I requested my refund. I saw her standing in the back and staring up at me.

Then she started slamming baskets around at the fryer.

The people who were behind us in the drive through and also asked to move, also got sick of waiting and came inside to get their food too.

The employees refused the refund and brought me an incorrect order. Then they argued with me about it. The person who argued with me about my order was a very rude very heavyset woman. The same as who took my order. I only call out people’s descriptions because I did not see name tags and so leadership can speak with the employees in question and ideally work on corrective actions.

The bag of food I walked out of the restaurant with was not what I ordered and the entire ordeal took about 30 minutes. I have 0 confidence that the food I received was quality and had not been tampered with and was ultimately thrown in the garbage.

The pictures say it all.They had me pull up to wait for it. Kind of weird that nobody was behind me while I waiting. I thought maybe I’ll get hot fresh chicken. Nope, it was cold, skin off it and it looked like it was been tossed around or someone peeled the skin. This place is like Russian roulette. I never know what to expect. I’m done with the Plainwell KFC.

5:00 pm on a Tuesday night….ordered our food waited 15 minutes….manager finally came out and stated we have no chicken breast….it will be a twenty/twenty five minute wait….or l can put in tenders….
We’ll as we had traveled 4 hours to attend a funeral…l was not in the mood…so l said yeah sure whatever….so we get to my sisters…the tenders were so over cooked they were not edible….and there were 4 small tenders.. to replace 2 chicken breast… not seeing the exchange there…so that is the reason for the poor review….and who doesn’t have chicken made ahead on a week night at 530 which is prime dinner time….will never buy from KFC again.

OMG Where do I start. 3pm on a Wednesday
two workers and no customers (besides me). I
walked in and was asked to leave and use the
drive thru because the lobby was
“closed,” (funny the door was open). So,
already reluctant, I figured it’s going to ok.
NOPE. I was told I was ordering wrong, I guess
I needed to say the items in a certain order.
OK? Cashier tried to give me the wrong
change, but then corrected it without having
to reopen the drawer, interesting. Lastly, but
most important…THE FOOD. Dry, over
cooked, it seemed that it was reheated from
yesterday maybe? (See Pictures) So they say
live and learn. Please take this warning
seriously. You will disappointed and upset. I
purchased lunch for the office and I am
throughly embarrassed! I have reached out to
KFC waiting for their reply. I will update this if they make it right. But I am not holding my breath.

The lobby was dirty. My husband asked for a famous bowl no corn and they made a SLOPPY no corn half famous bowl. The fries we ordered were cold and rubbery.when called for our food the front counter person was SUPER quit so we didn’t hear her call us. NEVER returning to this location.

Just went through the drive thru and received my food in less than a minute with very courteous and respectful service. Drove home which was about 20 minutes away and food was still hot and cooked amazing. Definitely coming here more often.

Allie and Liam rocked this store with just the two of them regardless of the struggle, they really hustled and they went hard at making a great representation of the company despite not having a full crew. I love this location, even when they are challenged they always deliver and my order is always good and correct. Amazing customer service and friendly people.

Plainwell the entire dining area was filthy, rude manager, garbages overflowing, every table was dirty, food on floor. Managers excuse was they just got done with a rush. Doesn’t matter you should clean your dining area on customer request and before serving any more guests.
