Came here for a small Saturday lunch. It was crowded and we didn’t have a reservation, but they got us a table pretty quickly.
Started with a half dozen oysters, two of each kind. They were fresh and good, but honestly I couldn’t really tell the difference between the types. They came with a green hot sauce that paired really well and added a nice kick.
Also got the tuna crudo. Super tasty. The sauce was citrusy and worked really well with the fish.
Fries were solid. The mayo was interesting. Not bad, just one of those flavors where I couldn’t decide how I felt about it.

Definitely make a reservation ahead of time, especially on the weekends. Also give yourself ample of time to find parking, which is super hard in this area. We got lucky and found a spot a few blocks away when we came here on a Saturday.
The host was a bit rude to anyone who didn’t have a reservation and witnessed this while we were waiting to check in and as we sat by the entrance. However, our server Hailey was super nice and made our experience enjoyable.
As for the food, we enjoyed all the food items were ordered. The Cesar salad was so good and loved the texture with the parmesan crumble and pickled pearl onions. The grilled cheese with a side of tomato soup hit the spot and was just comforting to eat. The miso bone marrow baked oysters were unique and worth trying. We got the hot lobster roll and it was so good with the bread and butter. It tasted so much better than the lobster roll at New England Lobster Market.
The restaurant is bright and open yet cramped with the tables, bar, counter and patio tables. The patio area looked miserable in the sun with no shade. Since the windows were open, there were occasional bugs flying around in the restaurant.
Overall, this place was worth checking out! We would come back to try out other items on the menu or if we’re craving a lobster roll.

Felt like 90% of people dining here were using the sapphire reserve dining credit. Made a reservation for 2 and the indoor seating were already full but the bar reservation was plentiful. When we were there there were plenty of open seats at the bar. Menu is the same for each although the bar is slightly less comfortable for a longer meal but fine for a quick lunch.
Ordered the brussels sprouts and tomato soup as an appetizer which was ok. Portions a bit small and on the salty side. Ordered the mussels and the whole grilled fish which was quite tasty and decent portion sizes. Ended with the chocolate budino for dinner which is the only dessert on offer.

Made a Sunday reservation at Little Shucker and was seated immediately. The parking is pretty difficult so go early to look for parking if you made reservations. The interior was cute, clean, spacious and open. The service was friendly and the food was delicious, with some being a tad on the salty side. The cold prepared mussels and the baked mussels(miso bone marrow) was a bit salty for my liking. The prawn cocktails were surprisingly plump and fresh, I liked the fresh horseradish zested on top. The Mediterranean mussels was cooked well and the garlic beurre Blanc sauce was tasty, just wished it was slightly thicker so it sticks to the mussels more. Most of the dishes were more like appetizers so I knew I wouldn’t be full and added the steak and fries. For a seafood restaurant, my medium rare New York steak was cooked to perfection. So flavorful and tender that I was able to cut it with the butter knife. Seafood does get pricey and isn’t very filling, but I left satisfied. It seems like the menu does change from time to time, so I will be back eventually. They also have $2 happy hour oysters from 4-6pm Monday- Thursdays!

Had lunch at the little shucker. It is an interesting place. Lunch menu is simple and focused on seafood. All seafood dishes are fresh and cooked to perfection. The salad didn’t look too appealing but tasted delicious. Actually we loved everything we ordered. Our favorite appetizer is scallop tartare and Brussels sprouts. The roasted whole fish is also excellent. The portion is small but we don’t mind. They definitely deserve a five star rating for food. However the plates were really shabby and worse than those used in school cafeterias. I would not use these for my dogs or cats. The decorations are also very bland. I think the purpose might be to create a casual and relaxing atmosphere. Chairs and benches are not comfortable. I would probably come for a quick bite or a glass of wine but not a real sit down meal with friends.

we went here for casual dining and it was a awesome experience. Cant say more about the food, the seafood is a must-try. We order the baked oysters and the MP fish, the mussel, Brussels sprout. I would highly recommend the baked oysters, all the three flavors. We ordered 6 pieces for two people, but if may, I would go with 12 pieces.

Usually when a restaurant has only a few items on the menu, I take it as a good sign. They can make sure everything is really good. I went to Little Shucker for lunch and shared the lobster roll (hot) and a grilled cheese and tomato soup between two people. The grilled cheese was $12 and it was just…bad. Two pieces of dry Denny’s toast and half melted slices of brie. Pretty unbelievable someone decided to put that on the menu – especially when the bread for the lobster roll was really good.
As for the atmosphere: There was a constant stream of delivery people coming in and out of the front door, and a delivery guy dropped a box on my friend. Look, I get there are things out of your control, but if I’m paying $95 for two sandwiches I think it’s perfectly reasonable to expect I can enjoy my lunch without having to worry about getting hit by a box. Y’know, like every other restaurant I’ve eaten at.

Wait was 1 hour 15 plus at 1:30pm on a Saturday. So try your best to get a resy. We tried to for a while but seems like they book quick. So we ended up getting some to go. Got the lobster roll, steak frites, flatbread and grilled cheese(for the kids).
Lobster roll is on the smaller side for $48. Good flavor but lobster is minced vs large pieces like Sam’s chowder house. Steak frites were supposed to be medium rare but came out close to medium well.

Definitely recommend making a reservation. The experience and service was good. The food was ok. The lobster roll was good but too small for what they are charging. The whole fish was just ok. For the price they are charging it wasn’t worth it. But in general ok.

I’m surprised by all the raving reviews. My friend and I came here for lunch and they had a condensed menu & counter service. We ordered two warm lobster rolls ($48 each) and fries ($11). It’s a bit wild to me that you pay at the counter and they start their tip at 20%. After tip and tax we spent over $140 for very mediocre rolls & service. We had to refill our own water. For the price, the food and service left much to be desired.
