We stumbled upon this place while trying to decide where to eat in this adorable strip with local restaurants and shops.
We are so glad we went in. The staff was super friendly! I had the BEST Cuban sandwich I have ever had. I could tell the pork was freshly slow roasted and their homemade dill pickles were an excellent compliment to the sandwich.
Don’t skip this place if you’re in the area!

If I could give no stars I would. To begin with the service is atrocious as in non existent. They have prices on the wall and when you order at their kiosk the prices are higher than shown on the wall. We took a chance anyway. Disappointed is an understatement. We ordered the grilled chicken bowl with cilantro rice, black beans and plantains. The chicken had zero flavor to it and was dark meat and not grilled chicken breast. The beans as well lacked in flavor and tasted like canned beans. The rice was hard and looked old. Not sure how this place claims to be Latin anything with the lack of flavor. Save your money and go somewhere else so that you don’t leave as disappointed as we did.

Second time here and I was not disappointed. First time ordering a bowl of steak and let me tell you, it was delicious! The bowl is more than enough for one person. (I could’t finish it, it was a lot.) You usually get a small piece of steak when you order from others but this was great. Enough of everything and very tasty! You definitely need to try it!

As a Cuban myself, I was really disappointed. I ordered a bowl with rice and beans, pork, and yuca, expecting authentic Cuban flavors. Unfortunately, this was not Cuban food at all.
The beans had no flavor and honestly tasted like canned beans. Cuban beans are not made from a can. They are natural dried beans that are boiled and properly seasoned with the correct spices. These tasted like canned beans thrown in without any seasoning or care.
The yuca had no garlic. Cuban yuca is not seasoned with just onion it should have garlic, a bit of onion, and plenty of lemon. This yuca was bland and incorrect.
As for the pork, I truly don’t believe this was puerco asado. Anyone who knows Cuban food knows exactly what real roasted pork tastes like, and this was not it.
It’s very disappointing that this is the only Cuban restaurant in Wesley Chapel and that the food has nothing to do with authentic Cuban cuisine. I say this respectfully, but I truly hope the restaurant takes feedback seriously and considers advice from real Cuban chefs.

The food is delicious, but the last two times that we’ve ordered chicken sandwiches (including in our $70 order last night), they have put mustard on the sandwich in place of the cilantro aioli (what the menu says come one the sandwich and what used to come on the ones we’d order). It’s terrible and ruins the sandwich. If you’re going to make that change, change your menu. I did try to call and message the business the last time this happened (left a voice mail with no response).

The food was good overall. It’s a small, quiet place with a nice atmosphere. The staff is bilingual (Spanish/English) and provided good service. They have outdoor seating options. The yuca was tender, the ropa vieja was flavorful, and the rice with beans was good. They also sell juices and other drinks. Overall, a good option to try.

When I first moved to Wesley chapel I was obsessed with mojo grill! Their flavors and spices were very flavorful. Unfortunately they are not consistent. The last 3 times I have been the flavors have been more bland and things have changed. Such as sauces, they give you 1-2 and make you pay for more if are seeking 3+. I highly recommend the steak and cilantro rice with beans and fajitas. The peril was a little bland but still good if it was an only option.
Over all the ovation is super cute at the krates with other restaurants I just wish their flavors were strong as they use to be
