Had the non veg Thali and Gol Gupa. Gol Gupa presentation was brilliant, each served on shot glasses.
Everything in the Thali was fresh: the nann was perfect and steaming, excellent butter chicken, creamy dal, rice and kheer for dessert too. It was way more filling than I would have expected.
All in all – perfect little find!
Everything we ordered was exceptional, but my personal favourites were the prawn masala and the garlic naans.
I highly recommend trying out this restaurant if you haven’t already, I will definitely be back!
The Kadhai Paneer was rich, flavorful, and perfectly spiced, with fresh paneer and a well-balanced gravy. The Manchurian was delicious with a great texture and seasoning, not too oily and full of taste. All the breads — Missi Roti, Garlic Naan, Lacha Paratha, and regular Roti — came out hot, soft, and freshly made. The highlight was definitely the Dal Makhni, creamy and slow-cooked to perfection, carrying that authentic, comforting flavor you expect from a top-quality Indian restaurant.
What made today’s visit even better was the excellent service. Our server was an amazing guy — friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. He checked in regularly, made helpful suggestions, and created a great overall experience. Good service makes a huge difference, and he certainly delivered.
Overall, my visit today to Royal Taj Cuisine was nothing short of impressive. The food tasted fresh and authentic, and the hospitality was truly top-tier. Highly recommended for anyone looking for delicious Indian cuisine and great service. I’ll definitely be returning!
Coming back from the States, we decided to stop by Royal Taj Cuisine (Google helped us) —and it turned out to be an excellent choice. I visited with my wife and two kids, and the entire experience felt worthy of five stars.
The standout dish for me was the Malai Chaap. As someone who has loved chaap since childhood, this one was exceptionally flavorful and prepared just right. We also ordered Kadai Paneer, Malai Kofta, Fried Rice, and Indian Tea. Each dish was fresh, well-prepared, and satisfying. For dessert, we tried the Gulab Jamun Brownie with Vanilla Ice Cream, which was outstanding—especially for my son, who couldn’t get enough of it.
The service was equally impressive. Our server, Jatinder (I think she was owner if i am not wrong), was polite, attentive, and made us feel very welcome. The restaurant itself is tucked away in a spot that’s a little hard to find, but as they say, hidden gems often are. The space was spotless and had the feel of a newly opened place, which added to the positive impression.
We spent $112 including tip, which felt very reasonable for the quality and quantity of food. More than anything, it was a wonderful family evening—great food, warm service, and a relaxed atmosphere.
Highly recommended, especially if you’re a chaap lover like me. We’ll definitely be back.
(Apologies for the half-eaten food pictures, we couldn’t resist digging in right away!)
