Morten’s is one of the better restaurants in Columbus area, in my opinion. It is very pricey however that the food is genuine and unique. Our trip here was a special event and we knew we wanted better service and better food knowing it would cost a bit more and we were not disappointed. This is not a high volume type of place but more of a culinary art experience for those with the highly developed pallet. All the food was excellent, the service and atmosphere could have been better but beyond the norm for this area.

We were invited with my husband’s colleagues to attend the annual Piedmont Radiology Appreciation Luncheon that Morten’s hosted earlier this spring.Thank you for an amazing brunch and truly making this work function so enjoyable!! Piedmont has been beyond amazing to my husband and I am so happy that the hardworking radiology team were provided such a wonderful treat! We loved the atmosphere, ambiance, kindness, your beautiful restaurant, and of course the divine food! Looking forward to all the date nights here!

Had a delightful dinner here. Seasonally changing menu, extensive drink and dessert lists. Small bites, fresh salads, and elaborate entrees. Pictured are a scallop ceviche, fig and blue cheese salad, cedar plank salmon, and a delight almond cake. Our server Mikayla(sp?) was an absolute treasure. Would highly recommend.

If you’re looking for a cute date night spot this is not the place. The chef/ owner stood in the open kitchen window where food was prepared to be served and continuously wiped his nose , scratched his facial hair , and touch the only side hair he had. When asked for food corrections due to being cooked wrong guest was meet with the response of you can cook it at home yourself. The chef / owner proceeded to take his self to the bar and drink while loudly talking disparagingly about the guest in the resturant to another patron at the bar. If you want a place where you come to spend your money while also ingesting skin and hair follicles, with a side of disrespect this is the place to be. 0/10. Customer service is a dying trait in the restaurant industry. The only highlight was VICTORIA our server who was phenomenal!!!

My steak was perfection, I cannot say enough about how delicious and well flavored it was. My steak came with mashed potatoes and veggies and it was all very tasty. The staff is polite and professional. The chef is amazing and might visit your table. Such a cool fine dining restaurant with many options for food and drinks! Thank you for having me!

If I could give this restaurant 0 stars, I absolutely would. Morton’s in Old Town is the definition of unprofessional. The owner was drinking on the job, behaving rudely, and instead of taking responsibility for food that wasn’t cooked correctly, he insulted the customer and told her to
“take your steak home and cook it yourself.” That is appalling behavior from anyone, let alone the owner of an establishment. Dining out should be about hospitality and respect — this place delivered neither. Save your time, money, and dignity and eat literally anywhere else.

In our travels across the United States my wife and I frequent many top tier five star, James Beard award winning restaurants.
As a novelist, who writes in the realm of southern literature I capture the essence of true southern cuisine in my books.
Thus, it was so meaningful when I met a true culinary artist from Denmark who blends the unique flavors of Europe with the fresh trappings of the South.
Morten Wulff is a gifted chef who has a deep insight into taste, presentation, and story.
Sitting at his bar to enjoy drinks prepared by a quintessential southern lady who represents the best in everything prepares you for the culinary masterpieces Morton builds in his kitchen.
I make “Morton’s” in Columbus a must dining experience every time I’m there.
It is as fine a restaurant as you will find in the country where one can enjoy our southern products fused into a European flair that makes for an entirely different experience each time you go.
Bravo Morton!!!

Was pleasantly surprised, I am a steak and potatoes type of person. The menu was above my usual tastes, but with help from the waitress I was able to order a delicious meal. The waitress also said the menu changes monthly so we will return for another adventure.

This is a very rare occasion for me! I travel 2 weeks a month for work, so I eat out at a lot of different kinds of places. Once in a while you will find some place that just hits all the buttons at once. I ignored Morten’s the first time I saw it because I thought it was Morton”s the steak house. Looked at the menu tonight and thought, let’s eat there.
Walking through the door I was greeted kindly, after telling her I was alone and going to the bar, she smiled and said of course.
Sat down at the bar and ordered a martini that was one of the best I’ve ever had. Followed that up with the tuna small plate and a side salad. Both were excellent.
The vibe was perfect, just the right amount of attention and a great energy. It was very evident the people that worked there wanted to be there and like it. Had good conversation with some regulars and felt like I belonged there from start to finish. Everything a hospitality experience is supposed to be. I will be going back.
