Under the new ownership, this is a family friendly place to enjoy an authentic Mexican meal. Whether you’re Hispanic or non-hispanic the staff are so respectful, friendly and you will always be welcome with a smile.
And if by any chance there’s is any issues, the owners and employees will accommodate and will make it up to you. The willingness to stay open during the town’s school home games to feed players, and families after a long game night, it’s awesome!
For a small restaurant in the middle of nowhere, they are doing an amazing job, thank you!
Muchas gracias por el gran trabajo de mantener esta comunidad en mente en sus decisiones y hacer todo lo posible por apoyar a los atletas de nuestra escuela.

The food was great. The burritos are great too. It may take a year for the food to come out, and by God any modifications you may have dont stand a chance in hell to be completed. But whatever food they decide youre eating is actually very good. I’ll go again.

The service was excellent unfortunately the food was just average. The mild salsa was great, but the carne asada tacos were luke warm and bland. The burrito was average and the shrimp special had just a few shrimp with the tails on. They have chips and a salsa bar but no cheese dips, or chimichangas. I think they are a little overpriced for what you get.

Rush Cafe is a lovely little restaurant located in Rush Colorado. It’s one of only three or four structures in the whole town of Rush. Man what a hidden gem this place is. REALLY great food and great prices! I go there every Thursday and have lunch with a friend of mine. No need to dress up, just blue jeans, a t-shirt and some old cowboy boots and you’ll be fine. Usually frequented by local farmers and ranchers. A great little spot!

My friend and I thoroughly enjoyed our lunch at Rush Cafe. The food was delicious, the server answered all our questions.
We both had the carne asada tacos. The meat was flavorful, the salsa bar gave you choices of no heat to very hot, as well as a guacamole salsa.
We would go back at ant time.

We were just passing through Rush and needed a bite to eat. The Carne Asada mini tacos were delicious and variety of salsas the best I’ve had in Colorado. I would make a trip back to Rush just to enjoy the food and those serving here. A wonderful experience!

Worth the trip to Rush! The food is delicious and the service very friendly. The chef came out and chatted us up, very friendly and a master of his craft. He also ran some piping hot pizzas over to the local food pantry. Holly was a great server. Overall, very impressed and I highly recommend
Update- the food continues to impress. Ask the server about the specials, they really highlight the chef’s talent! Of note, smoked trout & Ruben sandwich were both excellent and highly recommended

Ran out of gas here. Had 2 pastor tacos and a tripita taco and they were so damn good. This is a gem out in the middle of the nothing. Make sure you get gas before coming. So worth it.
