This seafood spot stands out the second you walk in because the staff treats you like you matter. They’re welcoming, attentive, and genuinely friendly without feeling forced, and they know the menu well enough to make solid recommendations. The food speaks for itself. Everything tastes fresh, like it was prepared that day with care and attention, and you can tell the ingredients are high quality from the first bite. The seafood is clean, flavorful, and cooked right, not overdone or covered in heavy seasoning. The portions are fair, the presentation is simple and honest, and every dish feels consistent. It’s easily the best food on the block, not just because of the flavor but because the entire experience, from the service to the freshness, makes you want to come back.

If I could put 0 stars I would. I ordered a salmon caesar salad from this location via door dashed. The bag was delivered sealed closed. I began to eat my salad and discovered a large bug at the bottom of the salad (photos attached). I immediately threw up and called the store to let them know what happened. I asked to speak to a manager and then was hung up on. I called back and asked once again to speak to a manager . I explained what had just happened and that I found a bug, and the manager instead of apologizing and acknowledging the awful situation , told me that this was not possible and if I was looking for a refund to contact door dash.not once did I mention a refund because I had already spoken to door dash and received the refund, I more so cared about the awareness and integrity of the restaurant , but unfortunately I was not greeted kindly or nicely and the manager lacked remorse. I then just asked for a name of the manager so I could call corporate, the manager said her name was Ky wannamaker. Which I know is a fake name . This manager needs to be terminated .

Saw a BOGO deal on DoorDash for the grilled chicken. I chose salad as the base, which comes topped with sweet potato, shaved parm, and crispy onions. The chicken was a bit on the salty side, but had good flavor and went well with the salad. Overall, a pretty good salad especially with the deal.

I’ve been to Brown Bag Seafood a couple of times before, but after my most recent visit, this is officially becoming a weekly spot for me. I ordered the salmon and greens and it was so fresh, perfectly cooked and absolutely delicious. What really stood out, though, was the service. The entire staff is incredibly warm and welcoming, and the manager, Tammy, went above and beyond. She was so patient while helping me navigate the menu, and she even held the door for me on my way out. Those little touches make such a big difference. Amazing food and amazing people. I can’t recommend this place enough!

Went for lunch with my daughter while in Charlotte. I ordered the lobster roll, minus the roll. She had the shrimp. They have you take a number and they deliver your food to you. Service seemed slow for the number of customers in the store. The shrimp was delicious. The lobster was good. One of the lobster chunks was chewy but the rest were delicious. The Parmesan tots were awesome! Parking was challenging as you need to park in a garage. But we were already there for an event so no issue for us. The atmosphere was better than fast food and less than a sit down place but matched the place.

Great little spot. I was working in Charlotte, had been in meetings all morning and wanted something refreshing to eat. My teammates and I came across Brown Bag Seafood on the way back to the hote. We could smell the aroma of the food outside the door, and decided to try the restuarant for lunch. The food and atmosphere were wonderful. The meals came out hot and the server, Kid, was fabulous. I ordered the Ginger Chili Crisp Salmon Sandwich. It was a superb sandwich. I will visit Briwn Bag Seafood again next time I’m in Charlotte.

My son and I visited the establishment for lunch. The staff was friendly and welcoming. Brianna took the time to address any questions we had. The food arrived timely and warm. When we were done we met Omar who thanked us for visiting and invited us to return again. We will definitely be returning .

The team working the night of 12/23 really assisted in a first time experience. I got the fish and chips asked for crispy and with a 9 min drive home everything was still hot and perfectly crispy. Asked how the chowder was. They said it’s amazing and no lies were told. Best I’ve had in a while. The tarter sauce is chefs kiss. .10/10 I’ll be back for sure.

A lovely experience at a nice fast casual seafood restaurant. I had the sweet potato blackened salmon plate and an order of hush puppies. Everything was seasoned well and tasty. The service was fast and friendly and whoever was controlling the music there did a bang up job! Was my first time visiting and would happy to go back.

This is one of my absolute favorite places uptown. The food is great especially the salmon & quinoa as well as the lobster roll. Hoping they bring back the lobster Mac & Cheese which was also delicious. The whole staff is super friendly and will always make sure that all the customers are satisfied with the service and food. Cena goes above and beyond remembering your name to add a personal touch that is lacking in so many businesses. Highly recommend!!!!
