We got here at 3 to have AYCE Fish which didn’t start till 4 so we got pie..Amish pie. I devoured the cocont cream and he enjoyed the triple berry. Finally the clock strikes 3:59 and we get to order. The restaurant is getting packed. He ordered the perch dinner we waited so long to get and I opted for the country fried steak dinner. I can’t tell you how disapointed I was when it got to me. I thought.. I didn’t order from the kids menu. The servings were so small. The best thing I ate, other than that awesome pie, was the green beans out of a can. ..
Now the fish held a different promise. Nice size perch filets on the thin size with a cornmeal type breading. A couple of extra pieces filled him up for sure.
The nicest thing here is the womens bathroom. Very very clean and just lovely.

We went here for restaurant week to try it out. I was surprisingly impressed!! They were busy, but the service was very attentive and so good! Caitlin was great server who didnt miss a beat!!
The food was great tasting and the portions were perfect! I hate going places where they are so big that you eat til ya feel like crap or have to take leftovers home. I ate everything and felt satisfied. It was perfect in my eyes and I also loved the paintings on the wall. Also, prices are great!! Will definitely be back!

It was so gooood! I got a bacon cheeseburger. My Husband got there Dinner special, walleye with onion rings and coleslaw. He said it was Delicious! And my nephew got the pork chop dinner with mashedpotatoes and gravy with a side of greenbeans. He said it was just a little bit better then mine. Lol Delicious food for a great price! We will definitely be back!

I live small diners. Wife and I went on a road trip today and stopped in to wildcat Cafe for a late breakfast sandwich on are was to Toledo,Ohio. We were pleasantly surprised. We got there about 11:30 and the place was empty. We ordered a beacon, egg, cheese on an English muffin and a sausage egg cheese on white toast (to go). While we were waiting on the food we had a nice conversation with the server at the high counter. Food took a little longer then expected, but WOW what a sandwich. Wifes’ BEC was 2 scrambled folded eggs, 4 slices of beacon ( yes I said 4 slices of beacon), American cheese and an English muffin that was actually toasted unlike most places that don’t ever toast it long enough (like McD.). o0o and beacon was cooked perfectly. She could not eat it all. my SEC was also great same egg and cheese as above and the sausage was a thick 1″+ patty that almost filled the whole sandwich with lots and lots of flavor. Through the price was a little high when we ordered $18 and change, but we gave them the benefit of the dought and it was worth every penny.

The cafe was able to accommodate our group of 9 on a Sunday morning (I called ahead). The restaurant staff did a great job despite how busy it was. They follow Covid restrictions well. The food was fantastic, prices are reasonable, lots of options, and the pancakes are massive!! Happy we thought to go here after finding out our usual breakfast spot in Carey is now closed on Sundays. Will definitely be back!

Waited over half an hour for half of what I orderd while 2 couples were served before me and they came in AFTER me. Waitress focused all her attention on a group of folks sitting in the middle. I guess they paid extra for premium service because I couldn’t get a refill until I was done with my french fries that I had to wait an extra 10 minutes for on top of the 33 I had already waited for a subpar burger.

Went in 2 separate days. The first day went for lunch got a Swiss burger. It was excellent and cooked perfectly at a medium rare. The only issue was waitress didn’t give us any refills without asking her at the front counter.
Second day was breakfast… we waited and hour and 10 minutes for 2 people. The food was still good. But was watching to go orders come out of the kitchen while the rest of us in the dining room waited for ours to come out of the kitchen.

Stopped here from out of town for lunch. There were three of us that ordered. Two meals were edible but nothing special. One order was a grilled chicken sandwich which came out dripping wet. The bun was soggy, there was liquid in the basket and it had a raw chicken taste. The waitress did offer us to get something else but we did not want to wait because we had a long drive home. The waitress still charged us for the sandwich, and when we were done the waitress took the baskets behind the bar, sat the grilled chicken aside under the bar, and another employee came and got it, looked it over and shook her head. When the customer can see everything you are doing I would think you would do that in the kitchen because your faces and actions were completely visible. I would not recommend this place if you are passing through. The food and attitude were not acceptable.

Small town vibe, peaceful and the food is great. The lady that took my order was sort of rude but the food makes it worth dealing with her for 60 seconds. Maybe she just had a bad day. Hopefully my next order will go smoother.
