My wife got the chicken plate. ($11.50) for 1/2 a chicken, 3 sides, and a drink. I got the BBQ pork plate ($11.00) for a bunch, more pulled pork than I could put on the bun, 3 sides, and a drink. Her chicken was smokey but not dried out. Same for my pulled pork. I mixed my extra pulled pork with the extremely good BBQ beans. I had mayonnaise slaw which was pretty good. The potato salad was really good (though not as good as the beans). It was a mustard based version with larger chunks of just slightly firm potatoes that I prefer which makes me think it was house made. Mass produced versions are usually mushy smaller bits of potatoes.

I’ve paid twice as much for half the quality and amount of BBQ at most places llately. Highly recommend.

3.5 ⭐s would be more accurate.
The restaurant was clean, the staff friendly
and efficient.
The food was prepared quickly.
The potato salad was good. The baked beans were ok.
The pork bbq sandwich was also just ok. It was mostly white meat, but very “chunky”. It would have been better if the meat had been shredded more.
Not a bad BBQ place, but not the best.
Would try again.

I had the bbq plate for lunch. It comes with slaw, baked beans, potato salad, and a bun. That combined with a bottle of water, totaled $9.60. The prices aren’t high, they’re actually comparable to any other restaurant. The plate has a lot of food piled on it, and should be more than enough to fill you up. Eating all of it will likely put you on the path to feeling miserable, but it’s worth it. Everything tasted great, and service was friendly. The facility seems far out of town, but it takes no more time than being stuck at a few red lights.

Wish I had ordered a jumbo! Great hot sauce. Bought a bag of skins, very good. This is a branch of Scott’s BBQ.

What a great find! During a family outing to Chickasaw State Park we came upon Hilton’s Jack Creek BBQ. Immediately I noticed they had over 60 maps reviews and a 4+ star rating and asked, hey family how about BBQ for lunch and the family immediately sounded in unison YES!

Upon entering Jack’s Creek the aroma of sweet, wet, mouth watering BBQ wrapped around us like a warm blanket in winter! A modest yet very nice and clean dining area came into focus as well as the smiling faces of the family that own and operate the restaurant! The owner and his wife (or the owner and her husband maybe:-) adorn leadership stations just behind the counter while the rest of their handsome family assists with prep and plating. The pride in their culinary achievement is apparent and so is their friendly helpful nature as they guide you through menu items and make recommendations.

Now with generous portions of ribs, coleslaw, beans, pulled pork and sweet BBQ Sauce on our plate we we’re anxious to inhale every moursal! The first bite of the ribs, drenched in Brown Sugar based Sweet BBQ Sauce as well as family Love and Pride, yielded an explosion of flavor. Every other menu item tasted had the same mouth watering result eventually culminating into a feeling of content and satisfaction for my wife, kids and I! Everything on the menu was good, scratch that great! I look forward to visiting again! Good Job Guys/Dolls! Thank you for a wonderful dining experience!

Do you and your family a favor and treat yourselves to this wonderful Family Made Original BBQ! You wont regret it!

We stopped by on a road trip and they had delicious sandwiches for us SO fast I couldn’t believe it. The pork was tender and well seasoned, and my husband loved the spicier version also. Coleslaw was light and fresh. Everything we were hoping for. And both sandwiches were only $11!
