A Hidden Gem with Heart

Com Pho The Ky is an absolute gem in the neighborhood. This cozy Vietnamese restaurant is run by a lovely couple whose warmth and kindness shine through in everything they do. Xuan and his wife are always so pleasant and welcoming — they make you feel like family the moment you walk in.
The food is excellent — fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. Every dish captures the authentic taste of Vietnam, from the comforting bowls of pho to the perfectly seasoned rice dishes. You can truly taste the love and pride they put into their cooking.
It’s rare to find a place where both the food and the people make you feel this good — Com Pho The Ky is one of those special spots. Highly recommend to anyone looking for genuine hospitality and delicious Vietnamese cuisine.

I would say the food was good, but the price of what I got was very over priced. A Lg duck pho was 17 dollars and I couldn’t even share that with 3 ppl I’ve been to so many different pho restaurants and I would share a Lg with 3 ppl and still have food left over. I always got food chicken and beef with rice that was good as will but I didn’t even get enough chicken for what I paid for not happy. Would I go back that’s a big maybe. Try for yourself and tell what you think.

This seems to be family owned which makes it wonderful. My family and I had to come back once again. The service is great with the server coming up multiple times. They rush you a bit when ordering though. The food taste authentic. Summer rolls and rice noodle pho were tasty. Clean surfaces and bathroom.

Honestly, underrated Vietnamese spot!
The pho here is rich, and the price is value for money! Ir is cheaper than ither pho places but the taste isn’t compromised in my opinion.

The bietnmaese coffee here is the highlight! It is absolutely delicious!! Best one I’ve had yet.

Com Pho The Ky is one of my favourite Vietnamese spots in the Greater Toronto Area no matter where I live or which ends I’m coming in from.

Once you walk in through the doors, you’re welcomed in by a very nice waitress who is excited to serve you.

I usually go here with my parents or when I catch up with some close friends.

Depending on my mood and cravings. I would either get a Pho The Ky Dac Biet bowl(usually when I’m feeling under the weather or need a pick me up) or a Bun Cha Hanoi (this brings back alot of memories growing up when my parents would make our own Bun Cha in the Hai Phong/Hanoi style.) or even any of their Com (rice) combos. I like their porkchop on rice combo. Absolutely one of my favourites. You also can’t go wrong with their Bun nem nuong or their bun thit nuong plates too, can’t forget their bun bo hue too! Delicious. So many yummy options.

Com Pho The Ky really brings the memories of your vietnamese traditional household vibe with the authentic vietnamese food and the original in resto decor. You can’t compare a traditional pho resto that has actual Vietnamese speaking waitress/waiters to a more modern (north american) resto now a days haha.

To top off all the food I gotta have a glass of Xinh to sau rieng!

We came with a big group and shared a fantastic meal here at Com Pho The Ky. Tried many dishes but I would highly recommend the Bun Ca Ha Noi, which is their specialty. Its a harder to find dish in Toronto and well worth the trip to come have some. The Bun Bo Hue was also very good and I would definitely order it again. The Ca Phe Sua was strong and delicious. Its a small no frills dining area but can still manage larger groups. Lots of parking outside and great prompt service. Highly recommended.

One of my favourite Pho places when I use to go to York University.

The broth is flavourful and is definitely homemade. The service is great and the food is expedited quickly.

I came here after my dentist appointment. The service was quick and efficient and the waiter was very friendly. I both got grilled chicken w/ rice and spring rolls, they were very delicious. I was surprised that the spring rolls were tasty and soft. Would come back again!
