This is a hidden gem in Breckenridge. The food is delicious and reasonably priced, particularly for sushi in a mountain town.
The tempura is always delicious, as are the rolls.
Not an upscale looking decor, but the food is just good!

Decent food, subpar experience. Walked in and was told we couldn’t be seated without a reservation with literally no one in the place and empty tables. After what appears to be an owner and the server went back/forth, they magically had a table. The entire meal the server stood right behind our table and asked us if we needed anything every 2 minutes to the point we couldn’t carry a conversation. The server had to detail his every move to the sushi chefs or he was berated. Lastly, one of the sushi chefs, who appear to be an owner, berated my wife for my child playing with chop sticks because “chop sticks are dangerous”. My kids aren’t wrapped in bubble wrap, they play with rocks and sticks, climb mountains, etc. This place stinks, is rude, and doesn’t deserve your money.

This mom n pop sushi shop delivers. The chef came out to say the poké is Japanese style, which we thoroughly enjoyed (try the volcano on wasabi). Chicken teriyaki was one of the few entrées but pretty good. The rolls were fresh and delicious. We were told fresh fish is picked up every Monday from a Japanese fish market in Denver. Gratuity (18-20%) is included so need to add another tip. We’ll be back.

Having been there previous years, this time was quite disappointing. 2 out of 3 meal orders were incorrect, I suspect the waiter simply wasn’t listening.
The restaurant is very untidy, rubbish and boxes of stuff visible as you walk in.
As for the cheeky message on the bill asking for a tip. Words fail me.

Food was very good. . Bill was $37 and somehow end up being $50. They included a credit card fee and a 24% tip. Check your bill, they didn’t tell me tip was included until I asked.

Small portions of overcooked food. Sushi boat hardly had any fish, mostly tempura batter. Rolls were a few cm across.

We love this place! Amazing and kind service and a very intimate and authentic experience. Great vibes! Definitely order a ninja role, it’s so fun! Also doesn’t hurt that you can see peak 10 from the window, it’s a pretty incredible spot.

Excellent view, wonderful Japanese chef owners, we had appetizers, sushi, and teriyaki salmon. Wine bottles were very affordable! Everything was very good. Natasha was our server and also serves as hostess. How she handled everything so impeccably by herself was remarkable.

Amazing experience! I am an absolute fanatic for good Japanese sushi. I hate cheap imitations. Wasabi in Breckenridge is an absolute must for anyone looking for good sushi in Colorado. The chefs are in their 70’s and are artists. The food tastes amazing and the presentation is superb.

Try the agedashi dofu and the unagi box, save some of the broth as dipping sauce for other mains, first one is crispy tofu that soaks up all the flavors of the broth it’s sitting in and second one is a fatty eel seved with rice and eel sauce very tender and loads of flavor!!! Thank you Wasabi!
