The owner is always so excited to see us when we show up. He also seems so passionate about his business and making it the best he can.
I would suggest talking directly to him if you have an issue before leaving a bad review because know how passionate he is about fixing any issues anyone might be having with the food or service.
Prices are super fair for what we have gotten so far and everything has been so yummy.
12/21/25 They changed the sandwich and fries!! (2nd pic) Sandwich is almost twice as big and still amazing! Fries aren’t crispy anymore or same type.. Still worth a drive across town for chicken burger though! It’s that good.
We ended up ordering a pabellón for me and a cachapa for my wife. My dish was good, but my wife had a really hard time with hers. They added way too much white sauce (nata) — on top, inside, all over. It was overwhelming, so I went and spoke to the same nice lady. When I explained the issue, she simply said, “That’s how it comes.” “ you have to order it different next time “ “ nothing I can do “ I told her that was fine, but since it was our first time, we didn’t know, and we didn’t want it like that. She took the cachapa away, and a few minutes later i thought they were remaking it so I asked if they could just not use any sauce. That’s when she said she needed approval from her manager and was going to call just to even see if she was allowed to replace it, making it sound like if he said no, I’m sorry it’s your lost. Like I’m asking for favors , are you kidding me ?
Honestly, I was shocked. I couldn’t believe we had to wait for a manager’s approval just to fix or swap out a dish — it felt absurd. Good customer service could’ve easily been something like: “This is how it usually comes, but no problem, we can remake it without the sauce or switch it for something else.” Simple, easy, and the customer leaves happy. For us, it would have been a 5 stars review and would come back to this restaurant often.
Instead, it became the opposite experience. Maybe a manager needs to be onsite to handle situations like this. The lack of training and customer service destroyed the experience.
At that point, I told her to just refund the cachapa they had already taken away, because I no longer felt comfortable eating there. Even then, I had to wait while she finished talking to whoever was on the phone — manager, supervisor, owner, I’m not sure . After waiting a long time for the refund, I finally got it, gathered my wife and kids, and left. Never again.
To be fair, the place is very pretty and eye-appealing, and my pabellón was good, But overall, it just wasn’t a good experience, especially coming from someone who has worked in the restaurant business for many years and knows what good customer service looks like.
This review is not meant to harm the business or take anything away from the place. It’s simply to share my personal experience and hopefully encourage the owners to invest a little more time in properly training the staff so they can offer the level of customer service that matches the quality and appearance of the restaurant.
