Cruisers is a classic style dinner esc restaurant, with a simple menu. They offer burgers wings and classic dinner style lunch you’d expect. They offer quite a few appetizers that are sure to make anyone happy.
They also have an item you wouldn’t expect especially in Ashe county. They have a Shrimp Po Boy sandwich and it by far is one of the best around. With a boom boom sauce sure to knock your socks off this sandwich is sure to make anyone who’s a fan of them happy. The service was pretty decent however felt somewhat rushed. Food came out almost instantly and we barely had time to try our appetizer. I was joined by my friend for lunch and she ordered cowboy beans, shrimp, sweet potato fries and a drink. She was not a huge fan of the sweet potato fries or the cow boy beans. Overall however we had a quiet bite and I was pleasantly surprised at how well the Po boy was. It’s hard to find one around here even into Boone. So this was not only a great meal but a welcome surprise

I really enjoyed this place. They have a wide selection of food. Comfort food, burgers, dogs, wings and more. I am cutting back on carbs so I got the 12oz burger no bun. Huge patty and loaded with toppings. Cooked great and fresh toppings. My friends were quite pleased with their’s too. Several TVs so you can catch the game you want to see. The waitress we was great. Checked on us frequently and super sweet. Hard to find a young person with good manners and work ethic. Very reasonable prices. Will definitely come back. Drive just a short distance from the main drag in W.Jefferson. Its is worth it for sure.

We’ve been here a couple times. Food is usually great. This night the food took an hour for 2 burgers. The burgers were ordered medium, but came out well done. There were 2 waitresses busting their tails off trying to keep everyone taken care of and one that kept standing at one table just chatting. We did mention this waitress issue to our waitress. Hopefully something will be mentioned to the one slack waitress. We will go back, and hopefully it be better.

If you’re in Jefferson and looking for an amazing lunch option, this is it. Cheese steak was easily one of my top 3 and the Po’ Boy had just the right amount of kick to it!

Our family was on vacation and decided we wanted to eat locally. So we pulled up this restaurant on Google and seen reviews were ok so decided to try it out. It was around 2p so only a few customers in store and 2 waitresses working. They told us to seat ourselves and took them about 5 min to get to our table with menus. We had a few questions about some menu items and waitress didnt have the answers, so we assumed she was new. Our order was taken directly onto a tablet, which means this goes directly to the cook. We had a party of 6, so a larger then normal party but 3 of the orders were incorrect. No veggies or condiments on 2 of the chicken sandwiches and how the chicken was supposed to be made was incorrect. Both were sent back and both came back incorrect, so we just didn’t fuss and dealt with what we had. Last half of one chicken sandwich was burnt and could not be finished. Womens Bathroom had no toilet paper or paper towels. Overall the 2 waitresses seemed pleasant and nice but just terrible execution of our orders. We wanted a local experience and it kinda failed there.
