We went for an evening meal and had a lovely time. Customer service is top tier, food was fresh and nicely seasoned. It’s a great cozy spot for good, Italian comfort food

6 of us enjoyed dinner at Broadway Bistro last night. The service was excellent, the atmosphere was inviting and cozy, and the food was quite good. We all ordered different appetizers, entrees, and desserts. My filet of sole Francese with capers was superb. One of my friends ordered the lamb and raved about it. The only downside was very tough veal. The flavor was excellent but the veal was difficult to even cut through. Everything else was quite wonderful so I’m still giving this place 5 stars. We will return!

A real gem of a place that I’ll sincerely miss. Every ingredient is so fresh it just tastes in every bite. The drinks are delicious and a throw back to when making cocktails was an art form. I had their strawberry cocktail and it was perfect.

The chicken thigh, carrots, and potatoes were a joy in every bite.

Service was 5 stars all the way.

Wishing everyone there the very best! May whoever takes over that space live up to Broadway Bistro! It was a great ride. Although people should avoid Patio on Broadway down the road.

It’s rare that I write a review without complaint, but there was a beautifully presented beet salad with a goat cheese and lemon, croquette and chicken. That was delicious. Before I was served my main plate, I was served a beautiful brioche warm roll. I was treated perfectly by the weight staff and by the bartender and given time to enjoy my meal. They also offer a 3-course lunch that was extremely reasonable in price. I would strongly recommend trying this restaurant because you’ll want to go back and try more dishes that they have. They have a really nice menu and the service was first class which is really something that contributes to the dining experience.

Visited from out of state. Broadway Bistro is a very special place and a must when in Nyack and a reason to travel to Nyack. Upon entry you are greeted and welcomed. The space is bright and the staff work in harmony.
The chef owner John makes food that is creative, thoughtful and shows his passion for his profession. We thoroughly enjoyed his Easter special menu.
The smoked salmon coronet with beet salsa was vibrant and great start to meal. The lobster ravioli was a dish reimagined. One would never think grapes would pair with lobster but they added a brightness and balance to the delicious sauce with Italian bacon. Oh my a delicious harmony on plate.
Each dish prepared your tastebuds for what’s to come. So memorable we will be talking about this restaurant for a long time. Those who live in area so lucky and definitely should visit. Thank you John and your team

My mother-in-law wanted to try this restaurant for a dinner with neighbors on Saturday and I was pleasantly surprised. Overall we had a very positive experience and the food was enjoyable and well prepared. I liked the variety of seafood and seasonal touches on the menu. We loved the basil pesto they serve with the bread and the cocktails were enjoyable and well made. I had the special salmon rillette appetizer and while it was good, I wished I had ordered the scallop with the risotto appetizer because another member of our party ordered it and it looked fantastic. I like smoked salmon and goat cheese and the filling was well seasoned, and the beets and mango were a nice complement to the dish. The rillettes were perhaps a bit overstuffed with cheese, and quite filling. The grilled shrimp with crispy angelhair pancake looked good although my mother-in-law left her pasta untouched as she said she was not used to sweet pasta (presumably from the coconut balsamic sauce). For entrées, I had the sautéed scallops and shrimp with pancetta and wild mushrooms and peas and I thought the dish was a bit salty (but expected it because of the pancetta) it was very well done and the mushrooms were meaty and the pancetta was delicious. The seafood was nicely cooked, I just wish that the scallops were not covered in sauce because they were browned beautifully and presumably had a nice crust at one point. I’m not generally the biggest fan of butternut squash, but the puree on the plate was smooth and heavily seasoned with cinnamon and paired well with the saltiness of the sauce. They don’t have a children’s menu but they offered a few options for my son, and he had linguine Bolognese, which did not look as meaty as the pappardelle Bolognese that my husband had (which was outstanding, the sauce was quite flavorful and the pasta was tender, definitely homemade) but he enjoyed it. I requested that his dish come out first and they accommodated so he could begin eating and not fidgeting quite so much. I normally would not chosee to bring an almost 6-year-old to this restaurant but luckily he was pretty well behaved and the waitress took the time to talk to him. My son wanted the flourless chocolate cake for dessert, which I found a bit dry and crumbly. My mother-in-law ordered the beggars purse and my husband and I split one. It’s hard not to like melted chocolate inside Filo dough. If I hadn’t been so stuffed, that would’ve been my dessert of choice and although I did not have any of the sorbet, I assume the tartness was a wonderful complement to the richness of the chocolate. Service was fairly attentive with water refilled almost too aggressively, cocktail refills were a bit slow and after we ordered our first round of drinks, the drink menus were removed so we had to ask for them again. But overall, the food was delicious and the chef was walking around and checked on us and we had a very good experience. By the time we left after about 2 1/2 hours, the restaurant was packed and there was a live singer so it was loud in the restaurant. The clientele is on the mature side. Overall we really enjoyed our food and the experience and would visit again.

I celebrated my best friend birthday during restaurant week. The service was great upon entering including the staff singing Happy Birthday. The menu selections made it a little difficult to decide with so many great options! I would definitely visit again

We had to try the mushroom soup, based on the reviews, and ,yes, it’s delicious. We also had the crispy angel hair pasta appetizer, that’s a must, really delicious. And for the entrée we shared the seafood pasta with squid ink pasta, delicious.
Looking forward to going back.
