Very clean restaurant. Staff is also friendly. Location has wide doors for easy entry. Handicap parking available close to the entrance of the restaurant. Reasonable pricing. The coffee is really good here.

After coming in I sat down took 11 min for someone to come out the back and help me and another customer I asked for a Cesar salad waiter told me that they didn’t have the proper lettuce for a Cesar but she could make me a regular salad and it would be like a Cesar then said but we also don’t have the dressing…. Ok so tell me how it will be the same…?? I ended up with a Cobb and a side salmon. The eggs they put on the salad were partially frozen the salmon had absolutely no seasoning on it. When I asked what it was seasoned with she told me probably nothing. I didn’t get a drink refil at all until after she dropped the bill and I had to wave her down. Probably the worst food and service I’ve gotten in a long time for the TA.

Great place for good home cooking. The waitress was attentive and very pleasant. We had the buffet, which included a well-provisioned salad bar (everything was fresh), and the entrees included fresh rolls, stuffed cabbage, pork loin, ziti, bbq chicken and a selection of home fries, mashed potatoes, rice, etc. I highly recommend it. Prices are good, 10.99 for the buffet, all-you-can-eat.

Stopped in for a bite. Waitress Becky was very friendly. Got breakfast for supper. Cooks did amazing job, food was good. They seemed busy, but Becky made it look effortless. Would reccomend. Most truck stops dont serve good food anymore.

Our 1st time visiting Country pride restaurant, Everything was great from our waitress , Erin, Greeting us as we walked through the door and continuing with excellent customer service throughout our meal. I was very impressed with the quality and quantity of The food and it was delicious . but the shining star of our visit was Erin, she is an asset to your business.

Went in & sat down. Only saw one waitress in the whole place. Waited 20-30 min just to order & an hour until we got our food. We got 3 burgers & 2 turkey plates with gravy. I don’t expect much from a truck stop but food was not good. Burgers were all burnt, turkey meal was basically thin lunch meat with canned gravy poured over it. The meat was still cold. Mashed potatoes were the worst instant I’ve had & side veggies tasted strange. I sent it back & didn’t re-order as I couldn’t wait another hour for another meal. Beyond disappointing. Waitress was nice but needed help. Won’t return. Keep driving don’t stop here.

As a team truck driver, I often stop at TA locations and usually appreciate the convenience of their services. However, my recent experience at the Country Pride Restaurant in Valley Grove was quite disappointing.
Before arriving, I tried calling three times to place a to-go order, but no one answered the phone. When I got to the location, my co-driver began fueling, and I went inside to place our food order. I politely asked the staff to prepare two items and mentioned we would pay separately once my co-driver came in, using our individual $17 UltraOne meal tickets. Unfortunately, the staff refused, saying they wouldn’t begin cooking until payment was made.
I understood and agreed to proceed with only my own order and handed over my meal ticket. However, when they tried to void the second item, the staff member seemed unsure how to do it, possibly due to being new. Then, another woman came over and very rudely said, “This is very ridiculous.” I was quite shocked by the tone, especially since I had been speaking calmly and respectfully the entire time.
I reminded them that I tried calling ahead and just wanted to modify the order based on the situation. As a paying customer, I expected a bit more courtesy and understanding, especially in a professional setting. I understand everyone can have a tough day, but respectful communication goes a long way—both ways.
I hope management takes this feedback seriously and provides better training and customer service support in the future.
