The. Absolute. WORSE!!! Monday 10/20/2025 .. halftime of the Detroit lions vs the Tampa bay buccaneers game, roughly 8:30..I decided to go grab a quick bite from here. Get there and ordered 1 freshly made guacamole, 1 steak and shrimp fajitas, 1 chicken quesadilla to go and I had 1 corona while I waited at the bar in a atmosphere that smelled like the grease trap or the kitchen exhaust wasn’t properly working!! $70 .. and I outta pocket a $2.00 tip. Food came out in two separate bags…cool. Got home 3 mins away and I had everything but the chicken quesadilla wasn’t in either bag so I called back up to there to possibly resolve the missing item and somewhat reluctantly the man on the other end said “come back to pick it up”.. cool. Upon arrival I was greeted with a man saying..” THE COOK SAID THE QUESADILLA WAS IN THE BAG “ I replied by saying “NO IT WASN’T, REASON BEING WHY IM BACK UP HERE” also..I paid $70 in which ultimately everything tasted worse than a $10 Taco Bell combo…and meanwhile it’s 2:00am and I’m pissed writing a review because I’m having God awful indigestion and heartburn with no relief!! Never ever again and I’ll be sharing my sentiments of disappointment and disgust on all my social media platforms!! Along with these disgusting chicken quesadilla pics!! Management I’ll see you tomorrow!!!!! Stay tuned for the follow up pics of what their chicken quesadilla suppose to look like!!

I have to start off by saying La Parilla is my favorite restaurant in the area. This was my first time coming to Guads and I was pleasantly surprised with the food and drink selection. It has a wider variety of drinks than La Parilla. I got the Diablo Margarita which was spicy with jalapeños but not overly spicy. I got the flautas and they were presented very nice. The portions were big but not too big. The service was really fast and friendly. I would definitely come back as an alternative to Gran Rodeo or La Parilla. I feel like the food presentation was slightly better than La Parilla. The only bummer was that they were kinda slow Thursday but I do see it gets busier on the weekends. Go check out Guad’s!

great cocktails and nice presentation! they have a large menu with different options compared to other mexican restaurants in the area. the food came out quickly and we had excellent service! generous pour for the wine as well:)

Me and my husband had a great time at Guads the margaritas are Absoulety delicious especially the frozen ones. The food is fresh and hot and not to pricey very affordable for anyone budget. Try the Barrias they are the Absoulety Best!

We came to just have a small meal as a family and really enjoyed the food. One of the elsewhere made a balloon giraffe for our toddler and he absolutely loved it. It is a small gesture we weren’t expecting but absolutely loved the thought. We greatly appreciated this.

This is the worst place ever. Their food is not good. The people look at you like your a billboard and not a person when asking them things. They won’t give you the things that come with your food like sourcream or salsa for a chimichanga, especially if you order Togo over the phone. 45 dollars gone with a side of rudeness to spare….. it’s “Mexican” American food.

First visit to the new Harborview Guards for lunch and the service was awesome, warm greeting, outside seating. The shrimp crab & queso appetizer and the chunky guacamole was so good! I had the grilled chicken fajita taco salad and it was perfect, coworkers enjoyed their lunch entrees as well: tacos and chimichangas!! Can’t wait to go back! Highly recommended!!

The food here satisfies my craving for Mexican cuisine. They meet all the wickets of a good Mexican restaurant. Perfect ambiance, awesome service, and authentic food! I will surely come again and taste the rest of the menu!
