We were there, me and my wife, for dinner with a reservation. This place is not too big, very popular, and so reservations always recommended! We were seated and started with a Greek platter and a Greek red wine glass. The platter is quite filling for two. We followed that up with a vegetarian pizza. Lots of food for two. All excellent fare! We finished with a baklava. This was quite large! Very tasty! Great food, quick, excellent service, great ambiance. Nice dinner we enjoyed a lot. Will be back gain definitely.

We went to this Greek place and there were only about 10 tables inside (another 6 outside) but it was nice, the staff were friendly, and the view was such a pleasant surprise. The food was nice and I enjoyed that the recipes were a slightly different than what I am used to but were all delicious. I had the moussaka and the eggplant and potatoes in it were fully cooked (often it is not if restaurants don’t have a chef who understands how to properly cook with it). The spices were nice and had hints of southern Greek islands. My husband liked his Gyro as well. The spiced feta has a tomato base and was different but delicious with pita if you like hot foods. We were full and did not have time for dessert but I really wanted to try the baklava cheesecake and the other coconut dessert.

This was a bit of surprise. We were looking for lunch after visiting the aquarium. Not what we expected but pleasantly surprised. The restaurant is in a mall directly on the water. It’s up a few steps so not exactly handicapped accessible. A small bistro-like restaurant. The food was great. The service was good as well. A nice well-maintained space. Definitely worth a try. You won’t be disappointed! I had the Greek salad with meatballs and it was absolutely delicious.

Woah!!! Where has this place been all my life? Not to be hyperbolic but, it was superb! The atmosphere was intimate and very upscale, our server was attentive and welcoming, but most importantly our food was delicious. I had the falafel gyro and was not disappointed. To be honest, for us the highlight was the focaccia with a mindblowing marscepone/Greek yogurt spread that our party was obsessed with. Reservations are definitely recommended as the place is tiny and gets busy!

Lunch today at Olives in Manteo with my mom and brother. Was full but only a short wait (3 minutes). Seated next to the window with a beautiful view of the harbor. Staff was super friendly. Ordered the Greek lemon chicken soup for my mom and the Mezede platter for all as appetizers. The soup and the platter were delicious. My mom ordered the Spanakopita which came with a nice salad. My brother and I both ordered the falafel gyro. The spanakopita was delicious and the falafel gyros were awesome. For desert we shared a coconut bread pudding. Normally I don’t order bread pudding, but that changed after today. The bread pudding was so awesome that we ordered more to take home. Overall, the view, the staff, the food, and especially the coconut bread pudding made this a great experience. If I find myself in Manteo again, a meal at Olives will be a must. Thank you Olives!

Excellent food, wine, and staff! Our table had gyros, bass fish and spanokapita. All were so good! They even have take and make items with clear cooking instructions! Definitely will go back!!

10/10. Olive A Greek Garden, has an astonishing 100% sanitation rating, and awesome food. For the first time I saw everyone in my family finish their plate completely. Normally we have to get a to-go box, but not this time. The food was just to good. The Cuban Gyro, the Spicy Feta Gyro, and the Chicken Artemis are the meals that you gotta try. Thank you, to the staff that treated us very kindly. Have a blessed day!
