This place was awesome! Normally when I go to a seafood restaurant I order seafood, however the 14oz ribeye sounded really good so I tried it and added shrimp. Let me tell you that was an amazing decision because that was one of the best steaks I have had. This place is definitely worth the drive! Great food, great people and great service!

Old school Southern Country local family owned restaurant. Great for families and hungry folks looking for great food at a great price.
Not for your special occasion.

Thoroughly enjoyed my time here! That southern feel as soon as you walk through the door is so natural it’s effortless, yet as soon as the food hits the table(impressively quick btw) you’re transported straight to the coast! Food and service were both incredible and I will definitely be returning with a new crowd soon!

I took a vacation at the lakes around Sparta and stopped here. The food was good, the service quick, and the people friendly. Plus you can’t beat complimentary grits and hush puppies.

We’ve been coming to the Lake Oconee/Sinclair area my whole life (32 yrs.) and just found this place. Everything was incredible: food, service, friendly interaction with staff, etc. I couldn’t recommend this restaurant enough. If you’re in Sparta, Eatonton, Milledgeville, or any surrounding towns/counties you’ve got to give it a try.
It’s family owned/operated and you can tell by the atmosphere. Just a few things we ate that I would recommend: Fried shrimp, fried corn(on the cob), deviled crab, fried okra, grilled scallops, and every meal comes with complimentary hush puppies and grits.
When you find a place that’s open two nights a week, you know the food coming outta that kitchen is going to be worth your time and money!

Wanted some catfish it was a Friday night so decided to try a new spot for me and my girl to try. It was busy so that was a good sign. The inside was very nice and clean so expecting a good homecooked meal. Well we was wrong. The food was very bland.. the fish itself was small and not cooked good. The shrimp was clearly the red bags at Walmart precooked and artificial. Tasted like rubber. For the price the portions were extremely small as well. You pay about $3 for a canned soda if that’s wat u want and they leave tea on the table all night which isn’t very sanitary and breaks so many health codes.

We had a family birthday celebration with a large party (over 20). The service and food were both outstanding. They really helped us have an outstanding event.

Can’t recommend this place enough! We had fried shrimp and catfish, and several different sides. Everything was delicious and the service excellent! Everyone working could not have been any nicer. This is a hidden gem you really need to check out if you’re in the area!

Great food, excellent service. We had fried shrimp, chicken tenders, fish sandwich and hamburger. All were perfectly cooked. The hush puppies melt in your mouth and the grits are superb
