I pass by this place a lot during my lunch walks and finally decided to give it a try. They offer lunch special mini hotpots, and each pot comes with a free drink, a choice of green tea or black tea.
I was seated quickly, and the server took my order right away. The service was friendly and welcoming. Since I knew what I wanted and only had an hour for lunch, I placed my order immediately, knowing it might take some time to prepare.
I had the Szechuan Spicy Pot, which came with beef, fish filet, enoki, tofu, clam, shrimp, cabbage, glass noodles, fish ball, corn, pork blood, and squid balls, and a choice of rice or noodles. The portion-wise was good, and had lots of different ingredients. But the flavor was lacking; Szechuan flavor should have the bold, numbing, and tingling sensation, but I didn’t find any from this pot.
My sister got the Satay Beef Pot; the flavor was spot on. So if you are craving spicy, I would not recommend getting their Szechuan Spicy Pot.

First time we come here and this place is nice and food is tasty and full of flavor, this place have everything kind of asian food like sushi or hot pot or authentic chinese also.

Came here because of hotpot buffet almost one hour and the waiter said we cannot order it. Only a la carte was ok to order. We sat and the restaurant was a bit cold but that not the worse part. The worse part is the waiter just land the menu and force us to order immediately while it’s almost an hour before the restaurant will close. This is our first time and of course would be last time for the terrible service I ever have.

Went for CNY dinner with a party of 6, spent about $30 per person on AYCE, but it was worth it, wide variety of meats and vegetables to choose from on the AYCE menu, sauce bar wasn’t necessarily lit up well, hard to see some of the options, but it didn’t take away from the experience at all! Great place for hotpot in the East Bay!

It’s a new find for me. Evidently, this form of steam kitchen format is very popular new form of restaurants in China. The menu is huge. We did not go for the all-you-can-eat hot pot. Instead we went for the steamed pot. The staff did all the cooking in front of our table, making sure all the lovely fresh seafood is cooked to perfection. While some dishes come with special tasty sauces, most vegetables are steamed plainly and we go to the buffet of sauces to make our own concoction of sauce dips.
All the seafood we tried, dungeness crab, razor clams, giant clams, scallops and fish were all super fresh and wonderful.
Service was good. Only complaint was when we made reservations, we were allowed only choice of either 5:00 or 7:30.

Visiting Oakland, how can you not enjoy going to have Chinese food at one of the finest. It was really an experience to cook my own foods as it was brought to the table. This was really an experience that you got to try.

Delicious steamed Asian seafood spot. My group of 4 did the seafood set menu for 6 and it came with 6 dishes. All delicious. What they do is they steam all the seafood and you can use diff toppings from the topping bars to add flavor. One downside is you have to wait for the server to take the dishes out of the steamer. And if it gets busy, they might take a while to get back to you, so the seafood can get over cooked. But regardless, I will definitely be back. The highlight includes a pooridge at the bottom of the steamer, and at the end of all the dishes, the pooridge absorbs all the flavors of the various seafoods steamed previously.

Food is over priced and didn’t give a half a pound of anything we ordered besides the shrimp. Most of the clams didn’t have anything inside, the shrimp felt almost unwashed and overcooked, and the sauce was essentially just butter. I do not recommend coming here.
