Always enjoy some chicken chaat but pakora will always be my favourite, so simple but so tasty

The butter chicken was rich and creamy. Really enjoyed the big chunks of chicken in each curry.

The tindaloo was similar to a vindaloo but cooked with green chillies instead of red. It still had the same heat level and was tasty in small doses

Naan was bubbly and not too garlicky which I enjoyed. As always, the perfect addition to an Indian feast

The meal for 2 consists of 2 curries, rice, naan, a starter, poppadoms & spiced onions for 28 bucks – pretty good value

Absolutely fantastic.
The food is always fresh, full of flavour, and cooked perfectly every time. The curries are rich and aromatic, the naan is soft and fluffy, and the portions are very generous for the price. Ordering is easy and the service is friendly and welcoming. You can really tell they care about quality and their customers. Highly recommend supporting this place if you’re looking for a proper, tasty curry!

I have been ordering the chicken tikka kebab from here weekly for at least two years. The last one I had the chicken had a strange texture as if pumped full of water, utterly revolting. I think they are comprising on costs . I now don’t trust them

NOT WORTH THE 3 HOUR WAIT!!

We made an order at 5.50pm – advised it would come 7.20pm. I don’t think it arrived till about just before 9pm. We had family round and sadly they had to leave before it even got delivered. We tried to call about 5 times however no answer – a recurring review when you read online.

We then contacted JUST EAT – who advised we’d get a text back from the restaurant directly. However this NEVER happened.

The food had generous portions and a some free pakora with the deal.

Why do you bother taking orders if you can’t keep up with demand??

The wait was so frustrating and disappointing. This seems to be the common note which is bringing your overall rating down.

Once again stunning food with warm and friendly staff who go above and beyond. Highly recommend the Garlic chilli(not overly spicy but rich and full of flavour). Our first choice if we fancy an Indian.

Went here and ordered in person on a whim after my usual take away was unexpectedly closed.

We ordered 2 curry’s a rice and a naan, which would have come to about £33 however the lasy on the till advised us to get the meal deal which was the Sam except included pakora and came to £31 all in so was happy with that. We ordered in person and waited, it took around 30 mins to get the food. It was absolutely delicious, this will be my new regular for Indian food. Really enjoyed it. Only slight criticism is the rice is very slightly too small for 2 curry’s in the meal deal but I suppose with the amount of food we had in the meal deal for 2 it wasn’t an issue the Na’an was HUGE and pakora was fantastic. But maybe a little bit more rice would have been perfect.

Food was really good. But arrived quite late from when I pre-ordered it online. And the restaurant didn’t keep me informed with the delay which would’ve been helpful to communicate with the people we were feeding

Not great again…second time in a row and we are left underwhelmed. Starters earned the stars on the food element. Mains were not as expected once again, the chicken is not tikka and texture wise wasn’t where it needs to be, bit stringy and chewy in all honesty. Sad to say it has went down hill since we first started going about a year ago. Staff are lovely, polite and warm. Can’t say we will be back as it’s two times on the bounce of disappointment for us, hope it was just a case of our bad luck.

Abbas and his team have established a top tier takeaway restaurant on the south side of Glasgow. The food is cooked to order and the use of organic spices makes a clear difference. The quality of the dishes is authentic and outstanding, well worth waiting for in my opinion.

Just had my best Indian Takeaway, this time from the Clay Oven in Giffnock, we called in ordered & collected it, the young lady who served us was very knowledgable & informative. Our takeaway was fabulous, generous sized portions and very very tasty. If only I lived local I would use it every week. I feel envious of my family who only live fount the corner from it. 10/10 from me. Many thanks.
