Quite impressive Northeast Chinese cuisines. The taste is quite authentic. This is a perfect place for a small group of friends to enjoy dinner and to share laughter.

Beijing Ranch has truly become a standout authentic Chinese restaurant in the Katy area. The 40-minute drive from my house is undoubtedly worth it, as the flavors and dishes evoke a sense of nostalgia from my childhood in China.

The cucumber peanut dish is reminiscent of the familiar tastes of my past, evoking cherished memories. The dumplings, crafted in a distinct northeastern style, boast textured skins, generous portions of meat, and a delightful addition of dry shrimp for freshness, resulting in an immensely flavorful and delicious experience. As someone celebrating Chinese New Year away from home, the meal brought back memories of festive celebrations in China.

The sour soup with pork belly and clear noodles was spot-on, capturing the essence of traditional flavors. The impeccable service provided by Emily, the owner, added to the overall experience. Her attention to detail and extensive knowledge enhanced our dining experience. She anticipated our needs before we even expressed them, making the evening seamless and enjoyable.

Despite feeling full, the delectable offerings compelled me to continue savoring the dishes throughout the night. This hidden gem in Katy, discovered through a friend’s birthday celebration, has left me feeling blessed to have such an authentic northeastern restaurant in the area. I look forward to returning again and again. Highly recommended. Greatly appreciates

Friendly service and good portion sizes. They were unfortunately out of a few dishes that I wanted to try but the chicken fried rice we got was still quite good. We also got the string beans which were not bad but I felt the onion could have been cooked longer. The beans came with a side of rice which was nice!

Food was not overly salty which I liked!

Nice decor and decent restroom.

Coming back to Houston 4 months later. I went directly to Beijing Ranch with a friend. We ordered 4 dishes and ate them all! There were another three tables of people in there and they all seemed pleased and happy!

Some of the best Chinese food in Katy. I really feel like this is a more authentic offering versus other restaurants.
The Triple Delight and the Eggplant with Hot Garlic Sauce are two of my favorites.
The Hot Oil Wontons and Dried Bean Curd in Chili Oil are both great appetizers and do bring the spicy. Don’t worry though, despite being a chili Oil, the heat doesn’t “burn” and makes the food full of flavor and highly addicting.

They are closed on Tuesdays.

From the decor to the service to the food – this restaurant deserves five stars all the way. We ordered the dumplings, general taos chicken, and orange chicken. All of the selections we made were amazing. The dumplings were complete perfection. The seasoning used in the dumpling stuffing was magically delicious. The best part is that they were perfectly steamed.

The lady at the front seemed nice but the food was bland, tasteless, poor quality. The shrimp fried rice had a small hand full of shrimp. There are more affordable options that taste better.

Lovely ambiance, nice waiters but the food was not so great. There were burnt veggies in my meal they were covered in sauce so initially I didn’t see but when I ate them it left such a bitter taste in my mouth. The place itself is really pretty and has a nice ambiance to it. I would try it again just because I knew places are having a hard time with staff so it maybe it was just a new cook or something?

The restaurant itself is so beautiful. It was strange when we entered to have lunch on a Saturday and there was no one else. Immediately upon realizing that, it can be assumed that the food is not great. We ordered a beef side dish, beef potstickers, and asparagus. Everything was not good but not bad. If you’re in desperate need of Chinese cuisine, this may be an option but definitely not the best one.
