First time dining in, I usually do take out.
Food was good. It was busy but we weren’t ignored. It was loud, but not terrible. Server was helpful and friendly. I ordered the sirloin, it was ok, a tiny bit over cooked. I was pleasantly surprised that they had asparagus. Burgers and fries were good. I had a house margarita, it wasn’t my favorite but still ok.

It was awesome. Best steaks around. This is a tucked away place that most dont know about. It is my secret. People super nice and service is excellent and there is not a long wait on your food. Excellent!!!!! See its gone…

Atmosphere was warm and inviting. Server was attentive, kind, and quick.
We ordered food from the kids menu, appetizers, and entrees.
The elevator fries was a huge stack of gooey cheese intertwined with crisp, yet soft french fries, and sprinkled with fresh cut chives and savory bacon.
The gravy that topped the mashed potatoes was creamy and lightly flavored with fresh cooked mushrooms.
The mac’n’cheese was smooth and we’ll balanced.
The BBQ chicken bites were perfectly breaded (not too much and light seasoning).
The fried okra was not drenched in oils like many other places, it was light and crisp. You could actually enjoy the flavor of the okra and could tell it was fresh.
By far my favorite thing was the house made runny buttermilk ranch.
Very clean and cute restaurant.
Great food and worth the experience.

Friendly staff. The ribeye steak I had was one of the best steaks I’ve ever eaten. The loaded baked potato was on the small side, but still very tasty. Overall an excellent place for great food.

New owners, new menu. My family had breakfast here on Sunday. 6 of us ate for $60 which is cheaper or the same than fast food prices. Food and service were both great. Much better all around than before.

If I lived closer I’d be a regular!! My in-laws live in Elgin and they are regulars! My wife and I love going to Tiny Mae’s when we’re in town visiting.
Most recently we were there for calf fry night. The calf fries were delicious! My wife had prime rib and said it was very good also. Of all the times we’ve been to Tiny Mae’s I’ve never had anything I wouldn’t order again. My recommendation however would have to be the 2188!! Save room for dessert… I usually don’t, but the few times I did the dessert is outstanding as well!

OMGOODNESS Best steak I have EVER had. It practically melted in my mouth, the fried green beans were crazy good and the “Damit Rita” I drank was amazing.
Atmosphere is fun and family friendly.
Will definitely be back!

The food is hit or miss, the specials are usually good. The best time I’ve had is just to go to the bar and listen to the live music. The wait staff has been consistently bad, they are young and inexperienced. Last time I went, the waiter said “Sorry your order is wrong. Is that okay?” No, definitely not okay.
