We were genuinely disappointed with our dining experience here, especially considering the standard of the hotel and the price we paid for our stay. The restaurant simply did not live up to the promise or the setting. From the moment we sat down, the service felt extremely slow and uncoordinated. It’s hard to tell whether the issue was understaffing or lack of proper management, but everything took far longer than it should have – from taking orders to getting our food, to even basic follow-ups. For a resort of this level, it was surprisingly inefficient.
The food itself was another letdown. Nothing stood out, and certainly nothing matched the expectations set by the hotel’s branding. For the price and the setting, we expected quality, consistency, and a sense of care in the dishes. Instead, everything felt flat and forgettable. It’s such a shame, especially because the restaurant actually has two redeeming qualities: the wine list, which was surprisingly good, and the beautiful view, which is genuinely lovely during the evening. Unfortunately, those two things alone cannot save the overall experience.
What makes it more frustrating is that we chose to dine in because we didn’t want to waste time going out after paying a premium for our room. We hoped for a relaxing, convenient dinner – and instead ended up disappointed. This restaurant has so much potential given its location and surroundings, but right now, it simply doesn’t meet the standard it should.

Devasom Khao Lak is very famous to me for its relaxing spa and wellness facilities by the sea in Khao Lak, Phang Nga province. My beloved wife and I had the opportunity to enjoy a special meal while watching the sunset in the restaurant with pool and ocean views. This place is suitable for travelers of all countries. I highly recommend it. And a big thank you to my chef and especially to Tommy for taking so many beautiful photos for my wife and me. Thank you, Pikornploy

Had a fantastic dining experience. The restaurant is located by the pool, offering a relaxing atmosphere. I ordered a light dinner. The food was delicious and well-presented. The staff were very friendly and attentive, making the evening even more enjoyable. Would definitely come back again!

We always come here when we are in Khao Lak, every time has been nothing short of magnificent. It’s the perfect spot for an amazing night. Every meal, dessert, and drink we have ordered has been absolutely delectable and consistently prepared to a very high standard.
Our go to favourites are the cold cut & cheese board, the Andaman lobster bisque, and the Devasom citrus salad – all must-tries.
The sea breeze and the stunning view truly elevate the entire experience.

We had several Happy Hour drinks and meals at the Devasom Beach Grill &Bar during our stay and it was great. Beautifully located overlooking the main Resort pool and the beach allowing us to view some stunning sunsets. Tommy and her team provided excellent customer service and were always welcoming and had a very positive approach to guests. A special thanks to Pui who really looked after us on every visit. Got to see the Fire Dance performance on 3 nights which was fabulous.

We made a reservation through Marriott, expecting a service level соответствующий Michelin standards.
Unfortunately, the reality was very different.
We arrived with a child and asked to be moved due to strong air conditioning. We were technically reseated, but only offered an uncomfortable table near the entrance.
At the same time, the solution was obvious and simple: there was free space in the restaurant area by the pool, with no guests around. It would have been easy to bring and set up an additional table there, which we specifically suggested.
However, we received a firm refusal with no attempt to help or offer any alternative.
As a result, we had to leave — even though it was a birthday.
For a Michelin-level restaurant, this approach to guests is unacceptable. There was a complete lack of flexibility, empathy, and willingness to resolve the situation.
The service is at the level of an ordinary restaurant, not Michelin.

We had fantastic meals here and would recommend to everyone. Steak was wonderful, as was the rest.
Beautiful Khun Pui looked after us every single time with a big smile We won’t forget her hospitality!
Khun Bao also amazed us with his skills, including the fire show! Thank you so much for everything!
We will see them all the next time we come back (hopefully very very soon!)
